We showed up for supper at 6:30pm and we were told they couldn’t seat us, they didn’t have enough room for 5 peoples. We were not even given the option to wait for a table, they made us feel like they didn’t even want our business. Very bad customer service in my option.

If you're traveling along I-95 and passing through Santee, I highly recommend stopping at this establishment for a fantastic meal and drinks. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The manager, Callie, warmly greeted me and provided insightful answers to my questions about the menu, particularly the wood-fired items. The bartender, Megan, was also outstanding; despite the busy atmosphere, I never had to wait more than a minute for a drink or to place my order. The ribs were generous in size and absolutely delicious—my half-rack was the equivalent of what most places consider a full rack. The collard greens and mac-n-cheese were fresh and flavorful. Overall, this restaurant offers an elevated dining and bar experience that's a standout for a small town I-95 stop. As someone who frequently travels between Maryland and Florida, this will now be my go-to stop.

In town town for Thanksgiving, and this Saturday night meal, did not disappoint! Emily was an excellent server. Food was fresh. Timing was rather quick for service!

The food was, as usual, outstanding (the new appetizer of mini crab cakes were tremendous especially with the tartar sauce and remoulade). The problem with the atmosphere was the ridiculous “entertainment” of older ladies (no senior citizen abuse here, I’m 69 next week) singing for the patrons in what was nothing more than dressed up karaoke. The only applause was from the group that accompanied the 2 “singers”.
To management: lose this “entertainment”. QUICKLY.

We are so happy to have Santee Steak and Seafood so close to home! Great food, great service and the atmosphere just keeps getting better! The manager, Callie, along with the owner and staff always make you feel so welcome and appreciated! We love Trivia Night! Not stuffy, but very comfortable atmosphere ! Ordered a t bone medium rare a hour later it came no winder it took so long it was wellllll done not a single bit pink welllll done no asparagus on my plate no sugar in the sweet potato or butter not happy at all!!! Starving from fishing all day and expecting a good dinner now I’m at Mexican across the street to get a fast meal 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Outstanding!! Our first time trying this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Drinks were made well. Our server was on top of everything, and the food tasted incredible. Will definitely will be going back!

Soup was barely warm. Steak had no flavor and a huge tendon left on it. Sides were bland to the point where I left them on the plate. This place must only survive because there are few to no decent restaurants in this town.

Had the ribeye it was cook to perfecton. The service was very good. Maybe a little to fast. Atmosphere was also very good but the price of ribeye didn't match the restaurant looks.
