Have to thank you Google map for suggesting this while heading north on I-95 and looking for a quick dinner stop. Just a slight detour.

As a Thai, I would say the quality and taste was good. The Basil dish wasn’t authentic as it was on the sweet side but overall flavor exceeded my expectations for a small town. I did noticed other tables ordering the Thai fried chicken which surely looks delicious.

I surely won’t mind returning and tasting other dishes if I pass by again.

Great little sleeper Thai restaurant. Looks outdated from outside, and there was a bit of construction going on outside, but service, value and quality of food was great 💯

Flavor was good. Although I ordered panang curry and instead of bamboo shoots it had potatoes. Misleading.

They need better signage but when you finally find this place and if you really like Thai food you will be happy. We enjoyed the chicken larb and the long bok.

Very clean restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The food was great, the service very prompt and friendly.

Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be ordered with a choice of tofu as the protein.

We visited on Sunday Sept 29. Our food was delicious. My partner had the pineapple curry chicken special and said it was the best curry ever. My shrimp salad as very good. It was a good quantity of seasoned shrimp (5 or 6) on a bed of romaine with some tomato and cucumber slices on the side. It was the perfect amount of food for a light dinner.

Our waitress Rachel was friendly and efficient.

The decor is outdated, however the restaurant was clean.

I am staying in Santee due to the hurricane on my drive back to Florida I looked at my options and decided to try the Thai House. I ordered on the road and picked it up to eat at the hotel. If this was a big city with the big city prices I would have given it 4 stars. In Santee it is a justified 5 star. Got dumpling and chicken wings as appetizers ( Thursday Night Football ) and the Pork Pad Thai as a main. All are good and the Pad Thai is very good. Nice people and everything was done seamlessly. If you’re in Santee and like Thai I think you’ll enjoy.

Small feel but big taste. Stopped here while staying at a hotel near by. Pleasantly surprised to find this great little Thai place. The Panang Curry, Teriyaki Chicken, and Chicken Satays were amazing. Very clean place with sweet staff who were very attentive.

We walked over here from one of the hotels near by. Dinner was superb, service was awesome! We will def. return when passing through! The dumplings appetizer was delicious (ordered a second one)! Thai chicken wings, chicken satay and garlic chicken were scrumptious as well.

Lalita, our server, was wonderful. You could tell that she has great relationships with her customers. I overheard her talking with her regulars and she remembered little details about when they last came in. You can tell she cares. When she learned that my friend was also Thai, she warmly greeted him and they got to talking. Now the food, my friend picked this restaurant out because he wanted to eat food that was familiar to him. It hit the spot. He got the prik khing. He said it was authentic and flavorful. I got the chicken pad see ew, wonton soup, and thai tea. All very delicious. 5 stars all around!
