I’ve eaten here multiple times before and it was decent while visiting my mother today, me and her and my children visited. The food was cold old and very, very terrible. We took one bite and I called the lady and let her know that it was horrible. We didn’t even fix ourselves anything to drink yet nothing she went and talked to somebody and decided to give us half of our money back so I literally walked into the establishment and gave them $24 to walk back out within three minutes! Needless to say, we will not be back anymore! They could have definitely done better Yes, it was close to closing so she definitely knew the food was not fresh! Honestly, I should’ve knew better and just not even tried! I highly recommend going during peak hours. It was 30 minutes to closing time. I do not recommend.

Southern style buffet. Collards, stewed okra, and fried pork chops.

I had lunch here on a Friday right after they started serving. They have a large buffet with lots of choices. Their pulled pork comes with a vinegar sauce already applied and they have a liver based hash. They have fried and barbecue chicken. I also ate fat back, chicken dumplings, chicken bog, smoked sausage, black eyed peas, collard greens, fried okra, hash and rice, and corn. For desert I ate their wonderful peach cobbler. I couldn't sample all of the buffet choices. All of the food was delicious.

Vegetarian options: The buffet has many different fruit and vegetable choices.

Parking: There is parking in front and along the side of the building.

We went on a Sunday it was packed. They couldn't keep up with the food and people coming in. There was no chicken and rice no fried chicken no dumplings. The Mac and cheese was horrible and the chicken dressing was nasty. They started turning people away at 1 pm because they ran out of food. It cost us 50 for 2 adults and 2 kids. There isn't a lot on the buffet for a kid to eat.

We have not been in a while, took my mother and her friend. Raved all the way there about the food. We get there it is awful. The dressing, potato salad even the chicken and rice were so sweet. It was awful. The sweet potatos were bland. Never had sweet gummy dressing like that. Seems someone got the sugar and salt mixed up. It was so bad we just got up and left. Heard another couple saying the same thing about everything so sweet. Far far cry from what it once was. Waste of 60.00

I went here on the recommendation of a local farmer and I was not disappointed! The southern cooking is absolutely wonderful. It was fried chicken and barbecue chicken and barbecue pork and chicken gravy and rice and potato salad and macaroni salad and desserts, oh my goodness! Having a soft serve ice cream machine so I could put soft vanilla on top of that apple cobbler? The ended the meal perfectly, and the price was VERY reasonable for an "all you can eat".

If you're in the area, stop by for a good meal. As a side note, take cash. No cards accepted here

Vegetarian options: There were multiple dishes without meat, you'd have to check with them to make sure they cook without pork fat, etc. (a lot of southern sides are cooked that way) but I would say there was a good variety of vegetarian side dishes.

Parking: There is an absolutely huge lot and no problem with parking in front of the building, on either side of the building or in the back.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room to bring the youngins, lots of booster seats and high chairs.

Great BBQ buffet in Scranton. We don't live close by so we usually stop in if we are passing through when they are open.

Another stop on the SC bbq trail in the books! This was my first experience with authentic eastern Carolina bbq. It was amazing! The pulled pork had a great vinegar flavor with red pepper flakes. The “hot gravy” was delicious over pork skins and the pulled pork. The liver has was very unique. I’m used to the hash you get down in the lowcountry and this was very different. I did enjoy though. All the traditional SC bbq fixins were present of course. Great little joint with plenty of seating a great decor. Atmosphere was great as well and the staff were all kind and welcoming. Felt like I was regular and this was my first visit. I highly recommend you check them out if you’re a bbq aficionado or just a casual diner looking for a solid meal! Also, at $13 a piece for an all you can eat buffet is an outstanding deal!

Parking: Huge parking area!
