Love this spot! Order downstairs, then relax in a comfy chair upstairs. Owners are so friendly—they even bring your matcha or cappuccino to you! Great for laptop work, plenty of parking, and so cute!

Best coffee I've had in Seneca!

Goodness Gracious! The Pure Shine on this Place is extravagant! I admittedly gave a little smirk at the 110 5 star reviews; I was like, Really??? Having done coffee on an actual coffee plantation (Doka) in Costa Rica and tasted utter smoothness from super real time freshness of beans, I was thinking, “in Seneca, SC???” But here I go being put in my place by this sweet, little shop with Baristas that, to date, are unequaled in charm, grace and good looks! Ha! What an experience of a little slice of coffee glory! And here is the kicker, I do not drink coffee on a regular basis ! BUT as I tried my husband’s coffee, which he took black, this coffee truly was smooth enough that I could get to enjoying a daily cup! ~Anyways, then I saw a glass of golden liquid being brought to a couple of non coffee drinking customers, and discovered that this specialty coffee place also brews made to order servings of Tea! And there was my second round of total enjoyment: the Peach Tea curated by Tranquilitea Tea Co out of Greenville, cold steep without any embellishment was absolutely Top Notch! Truly flavorful and Delicious!! Waiting for its preparation, I came across my third enjoyment offered at this cafe, in the lovely handcrafted pottery mugs! I love the design of these mugs because they have small diameter rims and that helps to keep hot beverages hot longer! Also the more slender shape of the mug with the thumb rest is easier on small hands! Oh my, It most certainly was a delightful trifecta visit! Lucky YOU ALL get to live nearby to this place! We are out of state visitors, and wish you all to support and come out to enjoy this darling place!! There is modest indoor and outdoor seating! ~But lots of friendly coffee lovers/ connoisseurs to encounter and mingle with here! Truly a gift to the coffee loving community!

Good coffee, nice atmosphere, and friendly management!

Blackwater Roasters is one of our favorite coffee spots. The quality is consistently outstanding — espresso, pour over, and cold brew are all smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. The monthly espresso specials are creative and genuinely delicious, not just sweet for the sake of it.

Also, Gus (our therapy dog and Head of Coffee Quality Control) has approved this as an official hooman coffee location. He will continue supervising future visits.

Gus approved. ☕🐾

My daughter and I went there last Saturday and they were gracious enough to still serve us since it was like 5 minutes until they closed. We both thought it was the best coffee we have had so far!! We will definitely go back there again!!

No joke, their Daniel’s Lemon Bar is the most unique and delicious coffee I’ve ever had. Very cute location with friendly baristas and delicious coffee. An absolute must-visit if you’re in the area!

In my view, best coffee in the greater Seneca area. Cold brew and espresso are so smooth, and I loved the cranberry/lemon take on cold brew. Portion sizes are not monstrous, which I really appreciate.

Will return and recommend.

Still our very favorite coffee house in all of the upstate area!!! None of the competition comes close!

Fantastic coffee, fantastic people!! We couldn't possibly say enough about this establishment. The spaces are cute and clean and the coffee is always Best in Town! Easily!

If you can make it to a special event we highly recommend it. But, do be aware that parking is extremely limited to getting a spot during an event is tricky. We recommend parking at the old gas station(?) lot on the other side of the strip mall and making the very short walk across the parking lot over to the coffee shop. It's a bit easier to see incoming traffic to get back out on to the main road from there anyways, so helpful on a Friday or Saturday evening.
