The foods homemade. Coffee is hot..and orange juice is freshly squeezed. Prices are decent. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. The waffles are amazing..the grits were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place. Feels like a home not a restaurant.

First visit and it's easy to see this is a hidden gem that the locals love. Off the beaten, tourist path and at 12:15 on a cloudy Wednesday, the parking lot was packed. No line and tables available, seated quickly. First waitress visit took awhile, BUT everything thereafter was very good. Very happy I stumbled upon this hidden gem.

Popular place, so be prepared to wait. Food was great, particularly the French toast! Servers are pleasant and always hustling around to keep the customers happy. Costs are reasonable and the drive is worth it for us on a Friday morning!
Dietary restrictions: You can ask for accommodations -- I didn't want potatoes or grits and got bacon instead!
