One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Good atmosphere and good food. The shrimp tacos and burrito selection are our favorites. The margaritas are excellent as well.

Papa Julios has great food! I have been several times. The service is good, but you sometimes have to wait on a bar drink or your check a little too long, in my opinion

AMAZING
This restaurant is true authentic Mexican.
Seating was very prompt with great welcome upon arrival.
The employees were very professional.
Our Waitress was prompt and very helpful with the large menu with many choices.
Questions about food items were answered with a cheerful smile.
Ordered the House traditional Margarita, which was excellent.
Other party members Ordered other drinks with no issues.
The appetizers were plentiful and very good.
The main dinner order came out hot and very large portions.

All were on point and absolutely perfect.
Restaurant atmosphere is also very traditional and warm.

Papa Julio’s , Seneca, SC

Before you even walk in the door you feel the atmosphere from the sidewalk , then you walk inside and it’s inviting. Then the basics they bring you the chips and dips. The tortilla chips were perfectly crispy and fresh , paired with bean dip, salsa, and queso that were all absolutely spot-on. Even the sweet tea was perfect , smooth, cold, and exactly how it should be.

Then came the main dishes , and they did not disappoint. The Burrito de la Roqueta was easily one of the best I’ve ever had , and I’ve had that dish at hundreds of Mexican restaurants up and down the East Coast. It’s in the top three I’ve ever had for sure, maybe even #1. The fajitas were sizzling, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned , every bite was a reminder that this place knows what it’s doing in the kitchen.

The service was just as impressive. Friendly staff, quick refills, and even the manager was walking around helping and checking on tables , a rare thing these days and a sign of great leadership.

The decor deserves its own mention , fresh, clean, modern, and perfectly balanced all the way down to the bathrooms. The atmosphere is upbeat and inviting , the kind of place you actually enjoy being in.

If I had to make one small note , the music volume was a bit on the loud side , but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Everything else was flawless.

Five stars all the way , Papa Julio’s delivers on every level , food, service, and atmosphere. Absolutely worth the visit and then some!
