Atmosphere is really nice and service is impressive, but the food has gotten really bad over the past year. Everything I had on Sunday was horrible except the avocado.

Not bad. We recently moved from Texas and this was our visit to a Mexican/TexMex restaurant in South Carolina. Friendly and fast service. We will definitely be back to try more dishes

Just ate at Papa Julio's Bar And Grill in Seneca. Good food but took my 4 year old son to the bathroom and the smell of weed was so strong towards the back of the restaurant and bathroom that I was scared my son would get a contact high. Expressed my concerns with the waitress but she didn’t seem too concerned and blamed the smell on a regular customer. Regular customers shouldn’t be allowed to smoke pot in the restroom of a family restaurant plain and simple. I don’t won’t it around my kids in a family setting. Will not be back
Had a great dinner with my bride and grandson tonight. Got in early before the Christmas light craziness in Seneca. Lots of folks had the same idea. Food and service were excellent!

Went with friends and it was busy. It wasn't the food or service that caught my eye. It was the bill. Our food for 2 was $27.00 and the 8% tax should have been $2.16. Instead it was $2.54. Someone is picking up an extra 1.4% along the way (and I'm guessing it's not going toward paying taxes). It doesn't sound like much but it certainly adds up. Check your receipt!

The food is above average for the Mexican restaurants in the area. The El pastor Mexican street tacos are out of this world

My second time going with my family. Quite busy when we came in so we were seated right by the kitchen which was distracting for me (but we didn't have to wait). Our server was very attentive - maybe because we were right by the kitchen. She kept our drinks, chips, and salsa topped off throughout our visit.
I went small on my order-the quesadillas I had were very good. Portion size was just right and they were filled- I mean filled -with meat. The steak and pork both had excellent flavor. My wife's taco salad was loaded with beef. Again, well seasoned and very good portion size. Everything was fresh!
My son and daughter were both pleasantly surprised at the size of their entrees. The Carna Asada and the Chiropollo plates were covered! Ther rice and bean portions were not huge, it was mostly the entree. They both brought some back to the house.
Everything was very good. I would recommend that if you are in Seneca stop in to Papa Julio's for a tasty lunch or dinner!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Good atmosphere and good food. The shrimp tacos and burrito selection are our favorites. The margaritas are excellent as well.
