Ive been here multiple times, and it was always decent enough to go back to. But yesterday was awful! I spent the yesterday evening and night sick! They had a cool trick in the kitchen, they were able to burn the food but not be to temp and cold! I only realized to start with it was the fries, our server went back to get them retired. We actually heard her ask them multiple times if the new ones were hot. They proclaimed yes. But no they were as cold as could be. Obviously they are cooking to hot, to allow the food to be burnt on the outside and still cold in the center. My wifes burger was almost as bad, but my gyro plate was very similar! It was thin steak em type cuts they Obviously were frozen and cooked while frozen. But on top of the food being disappointing , I ended up sick all evening and night. Im assuming either food was bad, or most likely mishandling of the food while it was being prepared. The server was awesome, she apologized over and over, she tried to get things corrected for us, then tells us there was a language barrier with the kitchen. I understand that, but the manager or someone should be there to lead or translate. Of course we were told also they were having a hard time with help. I understand that as well. We ask to speak to a manager, he was not there, and there was no one there to lead. Yeah, I don't understand that! Thank you southern steakhouse for ruining my day off that was the first for me in 7 weeks, and cost me work today because of food poisoning (or food related sickness)!

Heard this was a good place to eat. I wasn't impressed at all. Me and the wife got steak and it wasn't that good. Service wasn't good either and they weren't busy at all. This was a while back but just decided to put in my review now. I don't like giving bad reviews so I wasn't going to but decided to after all.

The food is great. The service is great. The ladies bathroom, however is not great. It does not comply with ADA disability laws. The entry door is barely wide enough for a walker and would not allow a wheel chair to enter. There is only one stall. It has a wall between the toilet and sink, plus a door into the toilet that is not wide enough for a walker to go through. There are no safety bars. I do not understand how public places are not required to follow this law.
First time coming here after several coworkers recommended, ended up going for our wedding anniversary around 3 pm on a Tuesday so it wasn’t busy at all yet. Hostess was super nice. Our waitress was nice but very dry personality, wasnt that welcoming. Got an order of cheese sticks as an appetizer, they are clearly frozen then deep fried, bland. My husband and I both got the 12 oz ribeye, I got mine medium temp, his medium rare, both had uneven spots where parts were rare or well done. Steaks weren’t terrible just mediocre, very little seasoning and very fatty, could be our fault for getting ribeye. Husband said his mashed potatoes seemed out of a box. My Mac and cheese wasn’t terrible, probably the best out of the sides we had. The atmosphere kinda gives more of a fancy dining experience yet the sour cream and butter for a potato comes out in plastic containers with lids. On top of this, we had our daughter with us, she needed a diaper change, I know whoever was at the front saw me walking to the bathroom with my 3 month old and diaper bag they could have stopped me and said hey we don’t have a changing table. I finally get to the bathroom after all the twists and turns, it’s a one stall bathroom with no changing table. I know some places won’t have them but most do and the employees could have saved me the trouble of going all the way back there with my child. All in all not a terrible dinner but also not the best. Won’t be back for a bit. With tip spent $94, that included the mozzarella sticks, ribeye with mac and cheese and a baked potato, another ribeye with a salad and mashed potatoes and two sweet teas.

The steak was fantastic, asparagus needed to be seasoned, the mashed sweet potatoes were bland. The waiteres need some training not listening to what the customer is asking for. This was my first visit and I'm not sure if I would go back.

Food was delicious, the servers were courteous and the atmosphere was great for a date night or a night out with family. My group of 11 made a reservation for longhorn but when we arrived it was an hour wait so we landed at Southern Steakhouse and it was a way better option. We loved it and will be back again!

Stopped in for the first time a few weeks ago. Happened to be a Monday so I tried the wing special.
Can’t remember the price off the top of my head ( I want to say maybe 8.99 or 9.99ish) but the options were six wings and fries or you could do 12 wings which is what we did. Nice size wings and they were flavorful.
I would definitely come back for them again. I’m a sauce guy and they were seasoned/sauced well. Can’t have wings without good ranch and they covered that part as well.

4 people in my party 3 of us got our steak a hour later and me well I was told they burnt mine and waited another 20 minutes for a under cooked steak while the rest of my party was already done eating, maybe they were having a bad night who knows .. wish everyone better luck than we had !!!

Had a party of 19 so I had reservations. To make a long story short. No drinks were filled. They brought 2 people at a time their food. Some were finished eating while some hadn’t received their food. After all but 1 person was served they came and told us they completely forgot to make their food!! They informed me they’d take 5$ off my bill on a $400 bill that 5$ wasn’t important. Lastly the portions were very skimpy esp for the price. Just very disappointing on a special occasion

Honestly, this restaurant is a perfect example of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” My wife and I came here last Saturday, and pulling in, we had our doubts. But once we walked in, my view completely changed. Their host was very attentive and took us to our table immediately. The waitress was on point—she greeted us right away with a smile and asked for our drink orders.
Once we got our food, I was astounded at how good it was. My wife ordered the New York strip, and let me tell you, it was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly to her liking. I got the low country boil, and honestly, for a steakhouse, it was very authentic and flavorful. We cleaned our plates and personally had a 10/10 experience at Southern Steakhouse.
The servers were all very attentive to their tables, and ours constantly checked up on us, making sure we were taken care of. I will 100% be recommending this place to my friends and family!

I wish there were 0 stars. I paid $30 for a steak, took 2 bites, brought it home and fed it to the dog. The salad, sweet potatoes, and the steak were a joke.

This restaurant is NOT a steakhouse. It's a Mexican restaurant. I visited thinking that it was a steakhouse. The food is mediocre and service isn't that great. I won't be going back.
