If you want any semblance of Mexican food this isn't the place for you. It's just poorly executed fusion tacos and even worse executed authentic Mexican dishes. I imagine gas station tamales tasting better. Elote street corn that looks like it's seasoned but had zero flavor. Pastor was meh. Kids quesadilla was awful. It was straight up lowest quality dollar tree shredded cheese. Service was decent. Just save your money and go elsewhere with higher reviews. This one clearly meets its current rating. We just happened to be in the plaza already. My wife said it wasn't good the first time she tried it, I should have just listened, she was absolutely right. Waste of $90 for family of 4.

This place charges $17 for a bottom shelf, ice filled margarita in a beer glass. That would be expensive for downtown New York City. Idk where these guys think they are or who their customer base is but their prices are outrageous

Honestly surprised how they are still business. I have given them 3 separate tries stretched out over 2 years. Each time I’m underwhelmed. This last time was it for me! I had a door dash. The host just looked at me when I went to pick it up. Didnt sat anything! Then it was a hair in my enchilada. The food is just not good.

The staff was friendly, efficient, and made sure we were taken care of quickly, knowing we were on a tight schedule. Great food, great energy—definitely a spot we’ll return to!

I am shocked at some of the bad reviews. We have been here at least a dozen times since they opened. It is not traditional Mexican food nor does it claim to be. The tacos are better than White Duck and the filet is outstanding. Chips are thin, crispy and hot, all the things I love about chips. Guacamole and queso is delicious. I have tried almost everything on the menu and will keep going back. The atmosphere is one of the best on Main st with open door seating and outdoor seating. For the spring and summer this will be great. Staff is friendly and service is good. We recommend this place to all of our Airbnb guests and they have all been pleased with the recommendation. Great job Typsy Taco!!

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon around lunch time. Hostess was very sweet a young blonde girl.
Wanted to sit at bar, restaurant was busy when I walked in but quickly dwindled down to just around 8 people including myself.
Ordered a white sangria which was delicious but the waitress who made it and served it to me complained about making it to two gentleman two seats away from me at the bar.
Ordered elote off and the cob and a Korean themed taco. Elote was truly awful just corn and cheese (which tasted like parm cheese and should have been cojita). No mayo no sauce no red spice.
The taco? A joke. The steak was over done, the slaw on it was uneventful.
My waitress never checked on me after ordering the food (a sweet guy from the kitchen dropped it off) - and it took I’m not kidding 45 minutes for it to come out.
22.15, tipped $10 to make it 33.15 - will NEVER come here again.
