This place does not take reservations for less than 6 people (we had 5 ie same size table), we called a week in advance and were told so, but also told they ‘we’re never busy on Sunday nights so don’t worry about it.’ Well we got there at 6:30pm and told it would be an hour wait. They did not care what we we were told prior or that we would still need a 6 top for 5 of us. Mind you there were numerous empty tables inside and out, which speaks to a staffing problem, they weren’t for reservations as they remained empty. They didn’t even want to take our name until I asked them to. We finally left. Not sure how good the food is, the atmosphere is nice outside, but do yourself a favor and if you have less than 6 people, lie and tell them you have 6, or get there when they open.

Our waiter in atmosphere and food were great. The hostesses are pretty rude though. Maybe it’s because Clemson lost yesterday I don’t know… Anyway, beautiful location

This was a very poor excuse for food. We wanted mahi mahi tacos for lunch at 1:30 on Sunday after church. We were told “No, we couldn’t order that until 2:30 off the lunch menu. I said surely they can cook that right? Waitress named Brantley said nope can’t do it. Then we ordered chicken & waffles with syrup. We ask for more syrup and they actually charge for syrup. Then we thought a dessert would change our minds about this place so we got the $10 peanut butter & chocolate dessert. Another fail- it was so dry and tasted like it had corn meal in it. The Bill was $56.00 and a total waste. We will not be back to this place. Save your time & money & go anywhere different.

I don’t typically put bad reviews but my husband & I went to this restaurant for the first time this weekend & we were so excited to try it. We were very disappointed when we walked up & was greeted with “Im sorry, we can’t seat you, everyone just came in to watch the football game” I know it was game day but there were several open tables but they acted like they were not interested in people being there for the food so they could seat the ones watching football. We had to leave and I’m not sure we will try it again

At this moment I am in heaven enjoying the seafood scampi! What a delicious experience! Lots of seafood and not overburdened with pasta. Absolutely incredible and one of the very best meal experiences I’ve ever had!! The service and food is ALWAYS first rate!!

The food was absolutely amazing!! Will definitely keep coming back to finish trying the rest of the menu!! We took our son there for his birthday lunch and was so happy that we did! Crab cakes and risotto are absolute musts if you haven't tried it yet! Service could have been a whole lot better though. Seemed like most of the staff was up beat and pleasant except unfortunately our male server. So if there was anything I would suggest is ask for a female server because you will for sure not enjoy your entire experience here other than that it was beautiful

Amazing staff in a very comfortable atmosphere. Visited twice. Some food was really good while other items were average. Closer to a five-star overall, but the "icing on the cake" was the $10 dessert cake that wasn't. After being talked up a lot, it was more like a Little Debbie. Still, I would recommend a visit.

Traditions on the Lake is a hidden gem and the best breakfast place in Clemson. While the shrimp and grits is a small portion for the price, this dish is delicious and fresh. I would only suggest serving it in a deeper dish with more grits. Also, the grits tastes phenomenal!

What's to say. Great all around. Great service with great food. One of the best burgers I've had in a while, wasn't greasy at all & the fries were great too. Friend had Goat salad & it was also very good. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing birthday party in the private dining room! The space was perfect, the food was outstanding, and our server was the best!! Thank you for making our special occasion extra special!

The meat lovers breakfast casserole was excellent. We had a party of 11 and there were not any large tables available inside at that time. The wait time was going to 45 minutes minimum which would make us miss brunch. Dominique saved the day. She got the conference room set for us and we were able to enjoy our Sunday brunch. Excellent service.
