1885 Taproom Reviews
We had our mom’s celebration of life in their new event space. Jamie was amazing to work with and the event was wonderful.
This place does everything right and it’s one of my favorite spots to spend an evening
Plenty of good beer to choose from, amazing food, the staff are so nice and helpful, the customers are friendly, the atmosphere is great and they have a beautiful outside area with a fire pit. It has a big parking lot and always hosting great live music.
If you are in the Simpsonville or Greenville area you need to stop in and check this spot out!

1885 Taproom offers a great selection of beers that change at the right pace, alongside indoor and outdoor seating options, including a great fire pit outside. Families enjoy sandwiches, chili dogs, and pretzels while appreciating the friendly, quick service. The atmosphere is lively, with live music adding to the experience, making it a must-visit place. With over 25 beers on tap and tasty bar food, including the popular French dip sandwich and fresh sandwiches from the deli like the delicious Spicy Italian, it's a fantastic spot to relax in downtown Simpsonville with friends. The hummus appetizer has plenty to share. While some food items may feel uninspired, the pretzel and beer are highlights, and the self-service style allows for a casual dining experience.
