I've been here about 6 months ago and loved it but my recent experience this past Friday was awful. The line to order was super long (which can't really be helped), so I ordered online while waiting in line. When I made it to the register to order, I showered her my completed online order that said it was placed 11 minutes ago. She made our cocktails for us and told us we will get a text when my food was ready (which was just an appetizer calamari). About 5 minutes later we saw a guy bring out several plates of food and placed it on the counter. I patiently waited for my text even though I had a gut feeling my plate was sitting out there. Once I refreshed my order page and saw that my order was placed over 30 minutes ago with no ready text, I decided that was unacceptable and went up to ask about it. She said the text system and their ordering system are separate and she said an employee hasn't has a chance to send out the texts or something. And of course our food was sitting there for 15-20 minutes but she claimed they just came out. It's so crowded to argue so we take and eat our cold and over-salted calamari. Very disappointed and will no longer return. Someone should have noticed way sooner that there were several plates of food sitting for an extended period of time not going to any customers.

Anchor is always good but last night was awesome.
Christina went over and above to insure my fish and chips order was perfect (I asked for them to be cooked as the last order of the night so I could get them piping hot when I could eat them and she made it happen) and the drinks were delicious as always..

We swung in for a late lunch and had seen a few comments and reviews for baked oysters online.
The drinks were cold and the service was good. It has its own section of a shared eatery and decent selection of cocktails.
We started with some calamari and shrimp cocktail which were both good and reasonably priced.
I ordered oysters Rockefeller and baked oysters and my wife got all backed. The ones we had seen online did in no way look like the ones we received. They were very small, dried out and with little flavor. Had we known (asked) the Mkt price before the check, they would have been sent back without question. The Rockefeller items were decent and worth a taste.
Once was enough for this location.

So, I had a fun experience today! I ordered two mussel bowls, I was texted saying my order was ready to be picked up. Except when I went to pick up my order, it was clams and not mussels. The color kind of gave it away, white vs black...There was no one at the pickup area for me to talk to, even though I stood there for a few minutes, no one else was there to pick up an order so I figured they punched it in wrong. Finally I just grabbed what I assumed was my order. We ate the plates, after about 15 minutes a server comes over to tell me it was the clams I picked up. Someone else's order and decided to argue with me about it. Sorry mistakes were made, but why did you text me saying it was ready? I showed her the text, hell why she was standing there, I got another text saying my order was ready AGAIN! I doubt they'll care, but I won't be back.

I went to The Warehouse and decided it go to the Anchor Raw Bar. I place my order (my usual) the fries with cheese and bacon. The young blonde guy took my order and was not paying attention so when I picked up my order it was wrong. I told him I did not order that and told him what I ordered. He became rude then threw the buzzer at me on the counter and went back to the kitchen. Very rude. I will definitely not purchase from there again.

Fish and chips is so greasy. The tarter sauce was sour and they told my husband they had Parmesan fries. They were extra greasy and salty but no parm fries. Tried to call to make complaint and nobody answered. This is 2nd time we got take out and could not eat 1st time either.

Stopped in today to have lunch with a friend. I’ve always gotten amazing service here but today was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. This was my fourth time here. Today the staff were not friendly and it felt like they didn’t really want to be bothered. In fact they never checked on us once we were there. Never brought waters to the table I had to ask twice for water. Our table ran out of paper towels they we had to ask a young man who was walking through our area. He was the only person who helped us. Last times I’ve been there it’s been the same wonderful waitress who says hi to you and checks on you. Makes you want to return. These ladies even say goodbye when we left. I won’t be back. If I could give a zero I would.

First of all, we purchased food from.The anchor but at the register. However, that's not good enough to sit in their area, and we were told not asked to leave "their* area. You waitstaff need to little bit more understanding and a lot less on their high horse. The lady that took our order was awesome the bartender that got me a to go box was very polite.
Oysters are good. Staff are nice. No fresh market catch available. No seafood tower. They didn’t have the Alabama white sauce for the calamari. Salmon nachos were not good. Half the things stated on the menu they don’t have.

This was a gem almost all of the places I visited to eat at. I did not know what to expect but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a fancy place which makes it even better for you to come in with your jeans and your cowboy boots. My girlfriend and I sat at a table and enjoyed a beautiful meal that included calamari shrimps and I even had piece of her salmon. The wonderful waitresses made certain that I was taking care of. A special shout out to the young lady by the name of Carolyn I believe her name is if I mispronounced it I'm sorry it was either Carolyn or Caroline I had a problem with the fish tacos being too salty. She sore to it that it was returned and brought out again a new fresh order which was also salty. With no problem or delay she asked me was there anything else I would prefer. So I tried the shrimp taco and that hit the spot properly. It is great to have good customer service. She did provide this and without hesitation or delay. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who passes through the area. It is located within the building called the warehouse. What really got my interest is the alcohol beverage Van Winkle. This beverage is very pricey I only want myself it is not open and it's worth can be anywhere from $1,000 to 25,000 price. For the price of a shot of $60 was very reasonable. So that their bottle was nearly empty which tells me someone must have afforded it and I hope they enjoyed it. I like being ambience I enjoyed everything about this little small gem. I certainly will return upon my next visit. Thank you Carolyn for making my visit a yummy one and a great experience.

First time visiting this place. Atmosphere is nice and food was excellent. I will say the red headed bartender continued to take shots and was slurring her words by the time I left. Did not pay us any attention and was disappearing numerous times. I have been in the industry before and this is just not acceptable and is a liability. I would have loved to have given more than one star but the actions of the bartender have made it to where I can not.
