My husband loves a good Italian sub and can be a sandwich snob, but the Spicy Italian at Bertolo’s is a winner. It’s toasty and soft. The meat, you can tell, is quality, and the lettuce is shredded, cold, and crisp. We shared that and a spinach calzone. The calzone is outstanding. Sometimes it takes a billion years to bake them, but it came out quickly and was loaded with ricotta. Very decadent and satisfying! The marinara and seasoned well, unlike some place in the area where the sauce is unseasoned and comes cold. Wish we lived closer or had one in Greer!

We love the Simpsonville location especially because of the massive 20” pizza pies—perfect for family dinners or sharing with friends. The crust is crisp yet chewy, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese blend is just right. You can taste the quality and consistency that comes from decades of experience.
The staff is always welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The lobby and bathrooms are impressively clean, and the fountain Pepsi products are always ice cold. The décor is modern and tasteful—not overwhelming—which adds to the comfortable dining experience.
If you haven’t tried Bertolo’s yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or a full pie to share, you won’t be disappointed.

I gotta tell ya as a major foodie, I'm a stickler for home cooked food, and that is for any ethnicity of food. This lil joint right here tastes like grand ma's been in the back stirrin sauce all day and hammering out some dough. Everything was perfect and the price was as good as the food is. Thank you Bertolo family for filling my families bellies with your amazing Italian eats.
