If I could give zero stars I would I’m new in sc I love sushi I came here and asked for a sushi roll uncut I mean I have to eat it so I would think I can get it how I want it the cashier was nice she tried to figure out how to put that in the register and ended up having to ask for help NO PROBLEM but the waitress or the janitor idk who she is because all I seen her doing was cleaning tables for the hour that I was there anywho the cashier asked for help told her I wanted a uncut sushi roll she frowned up her face and said just put it in the notes and tell the cook it’s incite with the nastiest attitude like she didn’t understand why I asked for it uncut then I was told to wait 15 minutes I waited 15 minutes plus 15 plus 15 plus 15 all the way until a hour later after seeing people come in and get seated and get their food within 5 minutes I finally asked and I did receive a uncut roll WITH NO SAUCE “(After hearing them offer everyone else sauce )”MY ORDER THAT WAS SITTING ON THE SHELF FOR A HOUR LOOKS LIKE IT WAS TOSSED AROUND A FEW TIMES yea never again I’ll just go to to a grocery store the hospitality is way better

Make sure you like sushi! I don't care for it, but the family wanted to go here so we did. I just ate sweet potato fries, which were really good. They do have a few types of burgers, just not like a ground beeg burger. However, it was a nice place.

Food was great, honestly better than I expected! The fish was amazing. My only gripe is how dark the restaurant was and that there were multiple burnt or missing lights. Also the bathrooms were sticky. Otherwise I would go here again, as well as their other location!

Since I moved to SC 3 years ago, I have been on the hunt for a good Sushi spot after leaving my favorite place in FL. I have tried at least 10+ sushi places, and this is the first place the actual made me feel back home with the flavors and presentation of their sushi. The Ramen was also super good, and the place it is so cozy, love the decoration and the vibe, and our server was very welcoming, polite, with a smile on her face, charming. This is my boyfriend and I new sushi spot and we will try more different rolls and options too. Try the Hawaiian roll, and the Rocky Mountain roll, and for an appetizer please get the Mango Tuna Tartare (it is sooo delicious)!!

The best sushi in the Upstate! And the best customer service. We go here at least once a month to get their sushi, bulgogi, and ramen. The food comes out quick and tastes amazing!! The portion sizes are great too! You won’t be disappointed

Absolutely love this place! Service is always friendly, sushi is delicious & atmosphere is cozy & cute. This is an go-to place for us a few times a week & consistently great. And no - you can’t bring outside food- it’s clearly posted 3 places on the front door. This is not an unusual rule for a restaurant. But they have a great kids menu & we often see kiddos enjoying their meals here.

I visited Chef 21 Sushi Burger in Simpsonville for the first time with my family. Before arriving, we stopped at McDonald’s to get a Happy Meal for our daughter since the restaurant’s menu isn’t suited to her taste.

As soon as we walked in, without saying a single word to us first, the manager loudly shouted, “You can’t come in here with that McDonald’s food — you have to leave!” This was said in front of many people and caused a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation for us.

I sincerely hope this wasn’t racially motivated, as we are Hispanic, but the way we were treated felt completely inappropriate and uncalled for. We expected a more respectful and professional approach, especially in a family-friendly restaurant.

Needless to say, we will not be coming back.

Went for dinner this Sunday. Have been there for lunch many times. Took over half an hour to get our food due to the large number of takeout orders. The drivers were sitting around, most were poorly dressed and some had their phones on speaker mode- very rude behavior. Management should have a rule against phones on speaker mode. And drivers should wait outside till order is ready. The management may make a good profit from take outs, but it puts a huge load on the sushi chefs and wait staff. And they probably tip nothing. Please put a small tip fee so the chefs and wait staff are compensated. Ask the drivers to wait till called. Otherwise, you will drive away tipping done in customers. We generally spend 60-100 for my wife and I. We will not be back for dinner due to the above.
