Cocobowlz - Fairview Rd

Used to be my fav spot but the acai taste like sugar water and most of the fruit isn't even ripe. Won't be going back anymore.

I have been coming to this location since it opened. Unfortunately, the last two times the açai base has been very different. The first time it had large chunks of ice in it and had little taste. The second time it felt watered down and tasted a lot like bananas. I don’t know if this is a cost saving measure, but for the price of the bowl it is not worth it anymore. Super disappointed because I loved coming here, but until the quality improves, I will have to find another place for açai bowls.

It would be amazing if the very young people working there were properly trained. They’re short, don’t greet or respond to “thank you” from clients and even when the store is empty, they sit on the corner on their cellphones while the tables are sticky and dirty. Some training is desperately needed.

Açaí bowl was super watered down, and my daughter’s smoothie was watery as well. I wasn’t impressed, didn’t even finish the bowl or the fruit part for $22.

Always a healthy option for me. I have tried all of the bowls they offer, I really don’t have a favorite to choose from. I can say I have chosen the Fruitful Bowl more than anything else. It helps with sugar cravings lol

The drinks be hit and miss bc they don’t make them right. I absolutely hate that a tip is requested beforehand bc i feel like my order might get messed up for a few dollars lol. Sometimes the service is mid but that tip screen always pops up on 20% smh. The Hispanic girl always make my drink right but I don’t see her anymore.

In general I am a fan of Cocobowlz, from South Carolina to NYC I have had great experiences. However, today I experienced the most horrible service from Server: Garcia, C. She was overall snarky and rude. When my order was ready she placed it on the counter and announced my order was waiting. I thanked her and asked for a bag. I was handed a bag to bag my own items, when I left a tip. Before exiting the store, I mentioned to Garcia, "I just want to say one thing, if someone leaves a tip, I would think at the very least you can bag their items up." So she said, "bagging customers items is not a requirement". I responded, "I was just here last week and two very pleasant servers bagged my items". So then she says again, "well it's not required". I replied, "That's good to know but neither is a tip. As a common courtesy if someone leaves a tip- you should at least bag their items". I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN and I'm sharing this horrible experience with a local home owners association group, so that other people can be more conscious of how local businesses treat customers. I've had better experiences at other Cocobowlz which I would totally drive out of the way for, than to be treated the way in which Garcia treated me.
