Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We love eating at Cracker Barrel and after our experience tonight I just had to write a review. We have so many nice things about our experience tonight at Cracker Barrel. First our waiter, Wes was absolutely amazing. So attentive, kind, and fast. He’s everything a waiter should be. The food was delicious, and came out quick! Next time we go we are definitely asking for Wes! He was so gracious with the tip we gave him for his beyond amazing customer service.

Loved the fireplace absolutely, it was cold that day. Best part of my visit.
Since COVID, quality of food has suffered 20%. Servings have also shrunk.
My visits are now much less often, its just not as good as before COVID.

Ordered from doordash on 1/1/26 &got food poisoning. Been suffering for 3 days and I will never eat here again.

I was enjoying a quiet dinner by myself. Imagine my surprise when my waitress told me that an anonymous person paid for my meal. It was a great way to start the new year.

Everything was amazing. After 10 plus years saying I would never go back, dew to an over all bad experience with service food i mean everything, I finally said ok and went back for breakfast and oh my was it good. The service was amazing the food was hot and fresh. Couldn't ask for anything better. I will definitely be going back now at least to this one in. Thank you to all the staff for being me back.

New year's Day- breakfast time- our first breakfast trip to CB in quite some time. Surprised that the restaurant wasn't full... Menu has changed... again. No more hamburger steak offered as a breakfast item (my husband's favorite CB breakfast)- no gravy, no grits offered as complimentary sides? Husband ordered hashbrowns and was up charged .99, but hashbrown casserole was a standard side? Biscuits were not good- pancakes were lukewarm to cold, depending on which plate you checked in our group. Eggs were perfect, bacon, sausage and country ham were all good as well. Just surprised that the CB standards (biscuits and pancakes) were lacking. Our server was very nice- the ladies at the front were nice as well...

A favorite place to stop for our family. Country style food. No real good options for vegetarians though. A lot of the vegetables are seasoned with meat.

I’ve been going here for years and this was the worst experience I had. Waited an hour and half for food and ended up not getting our meal. We walked out. I understand the restaurant was very busy but customers arrived 30 minutes to 45 minutes after us got their meals before we did. Unacceptable

Cracker barrel takeout is terrible. Everything was over cooked. I will never order out from the Simpsonville SC locatuon

This Cracker Barrel location was phenomenal.! We had Cortney as our server she did an amazing job! We had a very large family gathering. They took us right in put a bunch of tables together The food was hot and fresh . Cracker Barrel family is truly blessed to have Such a such a personable and professional server. Although she has only four stars on her sleeve which is the highest cracker Barrel has. We believe she’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, Cortney Will be back to see you.

I hadn’t been to Cracker Barrel in years, but this visit was a great reminder of why it’s a classic. The service was top-notch, the menu had great options for the whole family, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.
