Crumbl - Simpsonville

I ordered the Tres Leches Oreo cookie online through the app for pickup. I live closer to TWO other stores. Both the Spartanburg location and Woodruff Rd. location are closer to me, however neither location had the Tres Leches cookie available. So I placed my order online at the Simpsonville location, drove around an hour and when I arrived I was told the Tres Leches dessert was sold out. I ordered this cookie for my PREGNANT wife and drive a total of almost two hours for the cookies that I ordered to be sold out from under me. It feels like dishonest business to take orders for a product and then not reserve the product that was ordered for the customer who ordered it. I have spent hundreds on Crumbl but after this experience I’m never ordering Crumbl again. They didn’t even offer a refund. Just a different cookie. Meanwhile I’m out gas, $30 for the cookies (not to mention the dessert cookies cost an extra $1.49), time, and all I got in return for making a trip to Crumbl is frustration.

I ordered 200 cookies to be picked up at 8am. Received a telephone call at 7:45am that they were running behind. Received a call and text that the order was ready at 10am. I arrived to find 200 cookies not ready. They told me they were out of boxes and expected me just to carry the cookies individually to the car. I waited an hour (plus) for staff to slowly look for boxes. No sense of urgency. There was no consideration of my time. It's understandable that the order would be delayed and I appreciated the telephone call. But, for a customer that paid over $1,000 to stand and wait over an hour while the staff of three didn't have a care in the world for my order placed days prior was disappointing.
