We visited on the 28th of December, 2024. I ordered two eggs over easy with sausage links, sour dough toast and pancakes. Everything was good, the sausage was a little spicy for my taste but that's a preference thing. Now the pancakes were cooked perfect and were very very good tasting. They were the highlight of my meal.

When we order in the food is great. When we order to go they never care enough to get the order right. This is the 3rd time we’ve tried and now we are finished trying. It is such a shame because we enjoy the idea of this restaurant, but the follow through is always lacking when they feel they won’t be held responsible.

I had nothing but a good experience at Eggs Up until today. I came and checked-in with the greeter. There were no room at the bar. She asked if I would like to sit at the bar knowing there were no room due to the size of several individuals sitting. I found it, insulting to me and the people sitting at the bar.

So I agreed to opt for dining seating, instead others who came in later were seated ahead of me. Nope, they didn’t have a reservation. So, if you are a single person going to Eggs-Up in Simpsonville, you will feel discriminated based on there just you, although there were other seating. I was a frequent customer, never again at this location. Replace the greeter!

This time I tried the Shrimp and Grits. It was really good. I wasn't sure if I would like the charred lemon with it, but the small amount of acidity highlighted the shrimp really well. And the hollandaise sauce added the finishing touch. Great breakfast.

The food is your typical diner food and is delicious - a great spot for a good breakfast! The service is excellent - I don't think we've ever had bad service at any Eggs Up location, but the service at this one is exceptional. The ONE complaint that finally drove me to leave a comment is the female hostess at this location. There are two hosts we've encountered. One is an older man and is SO nice and friendly. The woman looks at you like "how dare you enter that door and try to eat here!" - and when she doesn't ask how many but we just tell her anyway, she grabs our menus and starts walking, lays them on the table, and continues, never looking at us or uttering a word. Initially we thought it was that she didn't speak english, but we've heard her speaking to her coworkers, so that's not the case. We've watched her treat just about every customer that walks through the door this way - so we know it's not just us. She is doing this restaurant NO favors by behaving this way - do better, Eggs Up. If it weren't for her this would be a 5-star review.

Great service. Not thrilled with the Grits, they were a bit watery

Well folks, ate here again after a month or so. One thing that does NOT change is the Kitchen staff does not Listen!
Eggs ordered soft are served over hard. Cannot make decent edible bacon to save their lives.
This is a noisy breakfast place that cannot be bothered to accommodate any type of special requests. Sad. Given them several chances, always a train wreck we We won’t be back
Edit to my review; ate here the other day and ordered their version of a Montecristo sandwich. It was awful, the whole thing was swimming in butter, and you couldn’t even pick it up to eat it. Their hash brown potatoes were a wet lumpy mess. For Christ sakes whoever you have in the kitchen, get rid of them and start over people because your food is lousy!

I've been here enough times to honestly give it five stars consistently. The food is always top shelf as far as breakfast food goes.I will say it can get loud so don't expect a quiet place to share a meal and hold quiet conversation but that's because it's popular and they do draw a crowd. If you do like Sunday morning breakfast out, I suggest going early like 8:30-9:00 am. The staff is always friendly and attentive to the customers, especially Krislen. She is outgoing and never misses a beat on my service. Thanks Eggs Up Simpsonville!

They seem to have a great team. However, our experience when it comes to the food. It's not so great. The ham was very dry and extremely salty, grits not cooked all the way, pancake was far too sweet (definitely not buttermilk type). My eggs were extremely runny and not cooked all the way. It was disappointing, to say the least. Mocha coffee was basically an overly sweet hot chocolate. Our server was absent mostly. Sadly, we will not be going back. Again, the teamwork of the other servers/staff was on point and seemed to work well as a team...
