Five guys is my family’s favorite burger chain. We love their burgers, peanuts, drink options, atmosphere, etc. I just hope they have kids menu options someday but, overall it is very satisfying.

I spent $19.31 for a bacon cheeseburger and regular fries. I know Five Guys has always been more expensive and uses quality ingredients, but that price point is pure insanity. You can go to the locally owned Bohemian Cafe, get a massive pimento bacon cheeseburger for $14 with homemade chips (or $2 up-charge). You sit down, they serve you, and it’s still $3 cheaper.
I’m drawing a line with this place. I know prices are ridiculous everywhere, but they’re being unreasonable. They’re a big chain, so I’d rather spend my money somewhere local. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same. This is coming from a guy that isn’t afraid to pay high dollar for great food.
I’m rating the food a solid 4 out of 5. It’s good, I like it, but I’m taking off a star for the price. The service was good and I did receive the food fast. They’re at the price point where they need draught beer and live music to justify it.
