First timer here. Just moved to the area. What a nice little gem tucked away right behind the Jack in the Box.

Greeted instantly upon arrival. You walk in straight to the back. Order what you like and they will bring it to you.

They didn't rush you a long and made you feel like home . Thank you for being here .

Will be back . The bacon egg and cheese on the toasted croissant and I just became best friends

I had a coupon for this place so decided to try it out. The staff is very friendly and explained a couple things to me when I asked. They also have a drive up which is convenient for me to pick up lunch. I also like that they have an all day breakfast menu. I got French toast with eggs and sausage with a smoothie. Frankly, I wasn’t impressed by any of it. The sausage patties were super thin and dry. The eggs were cooked too much and on a grill that was obviously not clean. The French toast looks like it was made with store bought white bread. The smoothie is made with fruit puree and a store bought flavor powder with I’m sure a bunch of added sugar. I was hoping based on the reviews it would be a new spot for me to frequent but I don’t think I’ll be going back. There are better options at a similar price point in the area. I wish them well, just not for me

Consistently the best breakfast and coffee in Five Forks for going on 10-15 years. Eric and his wonderful staff have cemented this as a favorite go-to for locals in Simpsonville. These guys take pride of ownership in what they do.

Java Bistro at Five Forks in Simpsonville, SC, is a gem that I am thrilled to have discovered! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming ambiance and the friendly, attentive staff. This place offers a perfect blend of cozy coffee shop vibes and a vibrant, community-centered atmosphere.

I decided to try something a bit out of the ordinary with my order: a custom omelet and a Cortado, a rare find in most cafes. The experience exceeded my expectations on all fronts.

First, let’s talk about the custom omelet. It was a delightful culinary experience! Java Bistro allows you to choose from a wide array of fresh ingredients, ensuring your omelet is exactly how you like it. I opted for a combination of spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Each ingredient was fresh and flavorful, and the omelet was cooked to perfection. It was fluffy, with the right amount of gooey cheese and a perfect balance of textures and tastes. The side of toast was crispy and paired beautifully with the omelet. It's clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in their work, focusing on quality and presentation.

Now, the Cortado – what a treat! This Spanish-origin coffee drink is not commonly found in many places, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. A Cortado is essentially a shot of espresso cut with an equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity. The barista at Java Bistro nailed it. The espresso was rich and robust, without being overly bitter, and the milk was perfectly steamed to create a smooth, velvety texture. It was evident that the barista knew their craft well, as the drink was expertly balanced and served at the ideal temperature. This rare gem of a drink was the perfect complement to my meal.

The service was another highlight of my visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and checking in to ensure my meal was satisfactory. The atmosphere of Java Bistro is both relaxing and invigorating, with a mix of comfortable seating and a stylish, modern decor. It’s an excellent spot for catching up with friends, working on a laptop, or just enjoying some quiet time with a good book and a great cup of coffee.

Overall, Java Bistro at Five Forks offers an exceptional dining experience. The combination of high-quality food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit spot in Simpsonville. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by Java Bistro. You won’t be disappointed!

It was my first time there. I'm not from the area so I wasn't sure where to go. I didn't want a crowded big chain or fast food. I just happened to be turning around in the shopping center parking lot and saw a few restaurants in a strip mall. Located on the end was a simple Cafe. That's the one that got my attention and I'm glad it did.

The girl behind the counter, I don't recall her name, was just the sweetest person. She had a bubbly attitude and was very welcoming. I asked her what she would suggest for the first time and she said the deluxe chicken sandwich. I went with that. It was different. I'm not a huge fan of Honey mustard, and she made sure to tell me it was on there, but I'm interested in trying new things and something's over.
If you're looking for a simple lunch with great customer service and a friendly atmosphere I would suggest giving this place a try.
