Best in town

Really impressed with this shop. This was a spot my wife and I have passed quite a few times when we come out to the Five Forks area from Spartanburg and always say, we’ll need to try that at some point. Well today I finally said let’s do it. Man, this was really good. A bit pricey but the quality is undeniable. I tried the lemon ricotta donut and a blueberry fritter. Both were exceptional. The lemon ricotta was perfectly balanced. The cake donut had a nice crisp exterior with a soft interior. The lemon ricotta topping wasn’t overly sweet and it had a nice pronounced lemon flavor from the lemon zest inside the topping. Top tier donut. The blueberry fritter was something I hadn’t seen before. I typically get a blueberry cake donut but they didn’t have one on the menu so I thought this would be a fun one. I loved it. Not too sweet and the texture on the fritter was perfect. Blueberry flavor was well balanced. I’d definitely come back again for sure.

Ever since they first came to the Five Forks area, I have loved Maverick’s Donuts. The owners/staff are amazing. They’re so welcoming and sweet. The donuts are so wonderful! My favorite are the Lemon Ricotta and the honey glazed. I recommend them to everyone in Greenville and everyone who stops by! Definitely a must-visit place over and over!

Went there this am got 6 donuts and a cup of coffee. The donuts were absolutely spectacular. I bought 3 different kinds 2 of each so I could bring home to my wife to try. I honestly had difficulties bringing them home as I wanted to demolish the whole box by myself. I want the owners to know I've posted a review of your donuts on nextdoor also hoping to send some business your way.

Im not understanding the high reviews. The donuts coated my mouth with the most disgusting taste of old oil. My husband stated the same thing after taking his first bite and I had not even voiced my own opinion to him yet.

The Apple fritters are delicious!
