Mei Mei House Chinese Restaurant

I'll never go back. Spent $54 for an order of beef Lo Mein and two orders of sesame tofu. The beef was really bad, and I really don't know how they can call the rice fried. My family each took two bites and then threw it in the trash.

This place is TERRIBLE. DO EAT HERE. I ordered crab Rangoon’s and chow mein. Rangoon’s were OK. The noodles had no noodles whatsoever. It was just vegetables and fried pork.

Omgoodness this is a hidden gem in clear site! Not from here have been trying to find a good fit my taste buds for some good Chinese food and they did not disappoint!!! Yes yea yes 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 a house of 5 nobody is disappointed winner winner!!!

It was cold inside.

The food is absolutely disgusting. So far every piece of chicken I have bitten in to is fatty and it's all greasy.

First time ordering from Mei Mei and the last.

Ordered General Tso’s Chicken and it was TERRIBLE. The coating was soft, one piece of chicken was rubbery, one was hard (spit out), and the sauce tasted like it was watered down.

The order of lo mein missed the mark as well but the fried rice was ok.

I have traveled a lot and abroad so I eat about almost anything but not this. Hit or miss from comments and locals alike but this was my experience.

I had them catered for thanksgiving and the food was delicious and everyone loved it ! Highly recommend!

I normally love this place but the two orders of sesame chicken I was given last night were horrible! The chicken was hard and dry like it was microwaved to hell or it was old and sitting around. Don't sell old food to people! It's not worth the negative review to your normally good business.

You know we have been in an inflationary hell for a while so eating out is usually the first thing we let go. Well let me tell you, I’m glad I refused to submit to that idea and decided to enjoy a delicious meal today. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I ordered by phone in my driveway one exit away and arrived in 15 minutes. The person at the counter was waiting for me with my order ready and packed up. The veggies were
Fresh and crisp. Not old and soggy (like some places) when I was a kid living in Harlem this was always one of the few treats I could actually afford. This meal was light years beyond that. I usually beat myself up for eating out. Not this time. This was a the best lunch decision I made in a long time. Well worth the money. He made sure he opened the container to show me my order.
He made sure I had a fork! (Can’t tell you how many times I got all the way back to my car
(Where I usually eat) only to find no forks, straw, nankins) not this time. Everything was there. The shrimp was fresh (to me) sorry to ramble on this Labor Day weekend but I really needed that pick me up and they made my day. Thank you. Well done Mei Mei. I was very pleased & satisfied!?✅
