Sat there for over 15 minutes before they even took our drink order. The "cheese dip" was watered down so bad it looked like milk. Waitress walked by our empty glasses multiple times yet we had to ask for refills of water. Will not be back.

The food was great. However, the service was not. The waitress was not friendly, and we constantly had to ask for things; more chips, more salsa, drink refills, napkins, knife (you are only given a fork??) I will definitely visit again and hopefully will have a better waitress next time.

Staff was friendly and the place has a good atmosphere but the food was very bland with not much seasoning or flavor. There are many other Mexican restaurants in the area that my family and I would prefer.

Food came out mostly cold on scalding hot plates. Bean dip was 90% cheese dip and also cold. Waitress only came back once throughout, for the check. Used to be excellent as far as service and food. Not so much anymore

As someone who grew up in San Antonio,Texas; I had a taco asada this evening from Mr. Jalapeño’s and it was dry and tasteless. I felt like I was eating a beef jerky on a packaged flour tortilla. Back home in San Antonio, our Taquerias always serve with homemade flour and corn tortillas. I couldn’t finish my taco because it was tough like beef jerky and had no flavor. Very disappointed 👎

Listen. I really didn’t want to do a review since it’s my first time coming here, and it was take out on top of that but goodness, this was bad. Orders were as follows: Fajitas Trio, which was cold. All the food was cold actually. Street Tacos (Asada) with a taco missing, and dried out limes to accompany. The steak was so tough and chewy it should’ve just been called a “carne seca” beef jerky taco. Kids cheese quesadilla (we asked to add chicken) wasn’t much of a quesadilla, was a wet tortilla with a small amount of cheese and some soppy wet chicken leaving the shell disintegrated. Never again y’all, NEVER again.
