Mr. Salsa Mexican Restaurant

Meh at best.

We had a neighborhood group of 19 people here today for lunch. Our server, Carmen, was attentive and she did a wonderful job. All other staff was very friendly making sure our needs were met. Food was great (I polled a few and they also enjoyed it) and all meals came out within just a few minutes of each other so we all were eating at the same time. One of our group uses a walker; the manager (maybe also the owner?) was very kind and helpful to us all, but he also helped our friend out the door and into the parking lot to get in the car. We notice over and above treatment like this; we appreciate you and your staff. Thank you.

Wow, this restaurant was fantastic! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I got the fish tacos which were composes of whole grilled tilapia filets on tortillas. Yummy! The side of rice & beans was great too. The 2 salsas given with the chips were flavorful, I only wish one was spicy because I love hot sauces and heat.

The atmosphere was laid back but clean, nice, and more upscale than the typical Mexican restaurant. Our server was absolutely fantastic! He checked on us throughout our meal and refilled our drinks at least 3 times. Everyone was friendly and easy going. I highly recommend this place!

We went to Mr. Salsa for dinner on a Monday evening and it was great! I had the Enchiladas con Carne Frita and my girlfriend had the Fish Tacos.
My dinner was fantastic, I loved the cheese enchiladas and the fajita steak was so tender and flavorful. The fish tacos were also great, each taco had a huge fish fillet on it that was really flavorful and grilled perfectly. I also loved the 2 carafes of salsa that came out with the chips.
The interior was so clean and it was very nice inside while still having a laid back atmosphere. The service was awesome - our server was very attentive and never let the drinks run out and offered us extra chips as well.
Try out Mr. Salsa - the menu options are pretty unique and the food is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in the Upstate!

Food would have received a 5 but fajita was not on iron skillet! The fajita was on a glass plate so it did not have the seared flavor! My favorite part of Mexican food is the piping hot fajita!

Clean and friendly. While food was mid tasty, way too expensive for amount of food, charges for extra chips, and no salsa bar or tortillas come w plates. Too many Mexican restaurants that offer more for less around here for us to go back. 😞 sorry

OMG... wasn't expecting much more than average fare...the burrito bowl ... fantastic. Went back the very next week. Had the vegetable tacos...amazed again. Delicious don't let the silly name fool you. The food is exceptional. The service is cheerful. Overall I could eat there every week.

The food was good, but the waiter was terrible. We had to beg for drink refills, chips and cheese dip.
