If you’re in Simpsonville and craving bold flavors, Papas and Beer is a must-visit. I ordered the Yucatan flautas, and they were absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned inside, and bursting with flavor. The real star for me, though, was their green pepita sauce—rich, nutty, and so delicious I could honestly put it on everything.

And let’s talk about the salsa bar—it was over the top amazing! So many fresh, vibrant options that I felt like a kid in a candy store (but for salsa). Each one was bursting with flavor, from bright and zesty to smoky and spicy.

The food, the freshness, and the variety make Papas and Beer an easy 5 stars. Can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately, this place is closed as is their second location in Simpsonville.

This place beats every other papas and beer location. The atmosphere feels like little Mexico, the salsa bar is the same at all locations except for the tasty cilantro and jalapeño crema they have here, the drinks are plentiful and the food is so delicious. I swear they have the best cooks at the downtown Simpsonville locations. I love that I can order anything and know it will be high quality. The staff is always gracious and friendly.

So I have eaten here a few times always great and good portions. I ordered tonigtt but take out and was literally half the size. Super disappointed
