Shanghai Tokyo Chinese

Honestly, this was the best Chinese I have ever had. Pork Fried Rice was delicious. Szechuan beef was well seasoned with good heat. General Tso's chicken could have been a little hotter. Portion sizes were excellent. Food was hot, fresh and quick to come out. Definitely going back!

Always order delivery. Great food. Good value. So nice that there are still places that deliver their food themselves. Love their hot and sour soup.

This is one of if not the best Chinese restaurants I have found in South Carolina.
Their food was all very fresh and perfectly cooked.
The fried dumplings are amazing and the tempura breading on the Sesame Shrimp was perfectly done, very light and crispy without any greasiness.
The staff were friendly, clean, and polite and had no problem working with us on special requests.
If you like your food spicy, they will accommodate you. If you want sauce on the side, no problem.
All in all a very pleasant dining experience and would highly recommend.

Beyond AMAZING!! I would give them a 20 star rating if I could. The Food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Fresh and piping hot. It all tastes like its been made from scratch. I felt like I was actually in Shanghai when eating it. Super friendly staff, the place was very clean. Best Asian food in South Carolina. We're so happy that we found them because we haven't had any good Asian food for a very long time.
We will be coming here any time we are hungry for Asian food from now on.

First time trying this place. I ordered sesame chicken and my husband ordered general tso chicken. It was all breading. The chicken pieces were the size of a finger nail. Some didn’t even have that much in it. We won’t be back as this was just not worth it. Also got some bones in ours.

I go there whenever my job put me in the area. Best Asian food in the area (IMHO).

I’ve given this place three chances, and I can’t recommend it. The food is just okay—ordered the beef fried rice, and it was mediocre at best. Service was fine, but nothing stood out.

The real issue came after we ate. Both my partner and I ended up feeling sick and even threw up. That was the last straw for me.

With food that isn’t great and a bad experience afterward, it’s just not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

It's very small, counter ordering. Lots of takeout traffic. It was very crowded with people waiting on their orders. Phenomenal food!

Food is always good. Egg rolls aren’t greasy. We know we are going to have a great meal every time we order.

We found this Chinese food to be just ok. We will not be reordering from here.

Fabulous beef and broccoli spring rolls are good. Just don't ever get the pot stickers they are the worst. It's like having 3 wonton wrappers on one just not good.

This place used to be our go-to chinese spot but in the last 2-3 months it's gone downhill. I called to see if they switched owners and they kept avoiding the question and asking me questions. The food is dry and burned other dishes are oily have too much liquid. Not happy at all. By the end of the night my whole family was sick to their stomaches from the food!! They need to get their old staff back! They lost our business and we normally have a $100 order and we go these 2x a month. Time to find a new Chinese restaurant!

Ordered Wonton soup Wednesday for lunch.
Since they’re closed Tuesdays they must have used wontons left over from Monday. Wontons were tuff and hard to chew.
Who knows what else they use that was left out for a couple days.
No more Shanghai Tokyo for me.
