Flounder was just ok and the okra may have been good if the salt hadn't overpowered the taste. Waitress was friendly and prompt even though we had to wait too long for our food. To me a little pricey.

Great food and attentive servers. Brought my mom here for her 77th birthday and they made us feel at home.

Visiting South Carolina from NYC. Wanted to try authentic southern food. Really glad I came here. The food and atmosphere is everything I imagined.

Horrible service for take out. It took me FORTY a minutes for one plate and one appetizer order! And you don’t get what you order!!! Not worth HALF a the cost. I’ll take my food needs elsewhere, even when I have to go out of my way to get it!!!

We were there yesterday. The place has gone down hill. The food was terrible and so was the service. There was no other customers and the server didn't come to refill our drinks once. They shortened their menu by taking a few items off that I used to enjoy and I'm sure were big sellers. I'll just go to Silverbay next time I want decent seafood.

Go for the food and service, not the atmosphere, and you will love it. Lots of great fried and grilled seafood plus desserts that made me want to lick the bowl! Order ahead and arrive early. I suggest between 4:00 and 4:30 because it is a small place and fills up quickly. We had grilled shrimp, coleslaw, hush puppies, baked potatoes, and a blackberry Cobbler dessert. Yummy!

Ordered the fried pickles for appetizer. The breading was too much, way too salty and couldn't even taste the pickles. Ordered the fried flounder plate to eat. Hushpuppies were burnt black. All you could taste in the coleslaw was vinegar...literally burnt the back of my throat and the flounder tasted like catfish. Didn't even look like flounder and the breading was super salty as well. Not worth the price.

Ate dinner here last night. I had the pick 3 (fried shrimp, fried flounder, fried catfish) and my wife had the chicken fingers. Both of our dishes were pretty good. We got a fried Oreo sundae for dessert and it was delicious!

Went tonight for dinner and had the Cajun low country boil and it was the best low country boil I’ve had! You get a lot for the price! Been going here for years and all the food is great, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely recommend this place to seafood lovers! Great prices and friendly staff members! Also recommend the delicious desserts they have!

We ordered 5 plates of the low country boil to go. Got home and the food was over seasoned to the point that no one could eat it. It was so spicy it made your lips burn and made you sick to eat. I tried to call back 2 times to let them know and no one would answer the phone. I drove all the way back with food in hand and kindly asked for a refund and the owner said all she would do is give me credit. I’m obviously not coming back so I said no thanks. Cooks make mistakes but it’s the business owners responsibility to take care of the customer. I’ve had low county boils a thousand times and never could I not eat it. Don’t waste your time with this restaurant. It’s sad because you try to support local but then you have a experience like this.

We had a wonderful fried shrimp plate tonight. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. The ONLY place we go for fried shrimp. We prefer small family-owned restaurants, where the staff recognizes and welcomes you when you come in. We have been going here for several years and will continue to do so.

Great simple southern fried seafood without having to go all the way to the beach! We come here every few months and it is always the same and good. The fried shrimp is great if you have trouble deciding.

I was looking for a good old fashion Mom & Pop restaurant, that could satisfy my taste buds. I ordered catfish, fries, chicken strips, fried shrimp, seasoned hush puppies and house lemonade. Folks, the food was outstanding and i'll be going back. Kudos to the cook and hostess??
