Awesome place to visit! We went to the cellar and the reuben are German beers were excellent.

Very fun place. It has the original brick and you can see two places where the city had underground tunnels. I got the charcuterie board with turkey pastrami, German Swiss and goat cheese. It was good!

Really fun place the visit. The food and service were both excellent. I recommend reservations or getting there early. The place is small and fills up fast.

This is the little gem of a place in Simpsonville. The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing! They have a large selection of beer and wine! For dinner I order the bratwurst with sauerkraut and Brussel sprouts. I also sampled the German Potato salad, which was delicious as well. I saw many Reuben’s coming out of the kitchen. I will be trying that next! We will definitely be back!

A delightful experience every time.
The atmosphere is amazing. Unterhausen has a beautiful cellar with friendly bartenders who are great at what they do. The selection of drinks is quite large for such a small location. I particularly love the German food served here, and have enjoyed every item on the menu. The pickled red cabbage served as a side with several dishes is one of my top 10 foods.

Awesome spot! Wade (owner) was so friendly and talked with us at the bar for a long time. The place is so cozy and charming and the beer and food were outstanding! We will be back!

I have been a fan of Unterhausen since it opened 10 years ago. It’s a unique place, in a great old building downtown, but with an intimate friendly atmosphere.
Great brats, great German beer, a huge selection of wine…

Parking: It’s easy to find a spot on the street near the Underhausen.

This place is small and has the charm of the old tavern in town. Service is great and the staff makes you feel at home. Decoration and atmosphere is great. Very private and cozy.
