I didn't grow up with a grandmother nor with this type of meal being served at my childhood table. As an adult I have had many meat and three places...this one has it all!

When u need a real home cook meal like the old school days drop by n have a sit-down so you're taste buds can be on fleek as the kids would say. Menu is Fried Pork, chicken, meat loaf,Mac cheese, collard green, her famous cornbread n sweet tea etc.

Talk about down home cooking, without a doubt one of the best, first of all food is delicious, flavorful, made with love, friendly people, service is excellent, very reasonable prices, and they give a free meal to the homeless

I tried to eat here several times for months before I was finally able to. They have some really strange hours - there were several days I stopped by and they should have been open according to their door sign, but they weren't. Other times I would try to call and see if they were open but the phone number online is different from the one on their window, and neither were correct. Once I finally made it by on a day they were open, I placed my to-go order and waited about 10 minutes before my order was ready. The inside is very small, so it may fill up easily on busy days/times. It traveled well, when I got home 10-15 minutes later it was still warm. The sides were very good, the chicken though wasn't my favorite - it wasn't breaded fried chicken, so there wasn't a crispy skin I normally associate with a fried chicken breast. The outside was seasoned and the chicken itself was moist with good flavor, but I missed that crunchy outside. Probably worth trying, it may be something you're really in to!

I'm from Tennessee and was looking for a good place to eat. I hit the jackpot when I followed the reviews I had read on Zamorah's. My daughter, grandson and I went today and could not say enough about how delicious everything was. We each had the meat and two vegetables plus dessert. We want to go again tomorrow! We had their fabulous and delicious chicken and fish today. We want to try their meatloaf and cube steak tomorrow. My grandson will probably stick with the chicken nuggets because they were so outstanding. He probably won't eat the corn on the cob again, so my daughter and I have strongly suggested he try the fried okra or fried squash which we enjoyed so much. If you want a great southern meal served by delightful staff, do yourself a favor and go to Zamorah's

I was craving country/soul food styled meat and three & this spot came recommend by a few people I know. Overall pretty good food. Details-rice & gravy. Gravy was so good. Rice was undercooked. Collards were amazing. Just enough heat too-like the kind that adds to the flavor. Not burn your mouth off for no good reason. Best I have ever had frankly! Black eye peas were yummy. Had good flavor too. Mac & cheese was so good too! The cornbread was super dry-almost stale. Not a fan. So overall I will come back here. I think the timing (day after new year's eve) was crappy on our part too. Who wants to work on that day anyway?? I was just glad to get my collards and peas. I like supporting people who are local, hard working and give hot meals to out city's homeless.

A great place to come for lunch. Soul cooking at its best as you choose your "Meat and 3" from the large whiteboard menu that they bring to your table. Very courteous and attentive staff, and your glass never gets empty. Prices are very reasonable and the food is awesome. I recommend highly for a hearty lunch.

Today was my family's first and last visit to Zamorah's. The reason was how the owner refused to honor an Entertainment Book coupon for 20% off our bill. She said that they no longer honor that coupon and has tried to stop the coupon. I stated that the coupon was the reason we came for our first visit today and that the right customer service action would be to honor it. I said that their issue with Entertainment was not my fault. When she still refused to honor it, I stated that she had turned a positive first experience into a negative one over how she was handling a coupon. When I stated that we would not be back because of how she was handling the situation, she did not seem to care. I ended by saying that she gave me no choice but to write a negative online review, and she said, “You do what you have to do.” I can't understand how a business owner would give up future business revenue over an $8.73 coupon discount for a first time customer.

I came across this place a few years ago and became a regular customer whenever I was in downtown Simpsonville. Restaurants with "homecooked meals" are becoming harder to find so this one needs to be added to your list of restaurants. The food is exceptional!! This is not your typical 'meat and three' because the food is fresh and not frozen like so many restaurants nowadays. Gloria is the owner and she gives very generous portions. In fact, I now need a to-go box. The restaurant is small, but the customers who have discovered this place have become regulars. The restaurant is located near the corner of Curtis and Main St. and only has a sandwich board out front and the name of 'Zamorah's' written on the window. This is one of those places that gain popularity through word of mouth advertising. Zamorah's has fresh, delicious home-style cooking and fast friendly service! You won't be sorry you tried it, but sorry if you missed it!
