The person who took our order was very friendly and helpful, answering our questions about the food. Our order was taken quickly, and the food was ready in a timely manner. One of the meals was not what my husband ordered, but it was replaced right away, so it wasn’t a big issue.
I ordered the Asian Zensation, and it was very delicious. The food overall is still very good. However, during this visit we were concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Several tables were dirty, and we had to look around to find one that was less dirty. The food trays were also dirty, and the floor was in very poor condition.
The last time I visited this location, it was much cleaner. Seeing it this way makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the food preparation areas. I hope they address these issues soon, as the current condition leaves a lot to be desired.

I came at around 10:20, I was one car away from the menu where you order at. It took 15 minutes just to get to the screen and order. I ordered what I wanted and asked for a milkshake (mind you it is only about 10:30-10:35 and they close at 11). The girl taking my order, her name is trinity, told me that the shake machine had been shut down already. That is honestly unacceptable, closing tasks should be done after there are no customers. I’ve worked at fast food places and I know this. I get wanting to get out earlier but business is supposed to be first. But I digress I still waited for my food. While I was waiting I was watching the people in front of me. Apparently they were allowed to order milkshakes because Trinity handed out two of them to them. So it was 10:58 when I was finally able to pull up and get my food. I asked trinity why the people before me could get served what they wanted and then suddenly when I wanted a shake it was shut down. She said that the machine had been shut down for a while (since like 10:30 “when they normally shut it down”). She said that the two she gave out had already been sitting there and made so she gave them to the customers. That does not make sense because she handed the first one out and then it was about 10 minutes after that when the second one was handed out (which is how long I assume it takes to make a milkshake). She then proceeded to offer me 2 milkshakes that had also been sitting there which is so unsanitary to me so I just paid for my food and left. That is the most outrageous experience I’ve had at this Zaxbys and I’m now reluctant to go back.

I placed an online order with this Zaxby’s on October 30th. My order was correct, but later there was an issue, so I called the store. The person I spoke with took my name and number and told me that I had two weeks to come back to the location to either remake or pick up my order.

When I went back today, I spoke to Josh, the GM, and explained the situation. I even showed him my bank statement, which clearly showed the store number, and there phone number. Despite this, he told me there was nothing they could do and that my name wasn’t on the list.

What made this experience worse was the lack of effort to make things right. I wasn’t rude—I just wanted the order I was told I could get. Instead, I was basically dismissed. The GM didn’t even try to verify the situation or offer a simple solution.

This was very poor customer service. If a customer is told to come back and is given a time frame, that promise should be honored. I shouldn’t have to argue or feel disrespected when I have proof of purchase. I won’t be returning to this location again.

Depressing. All I can say. I usually don’t leave reviews because it’s never that deep.

But when they leave out straws, sauce, silverware, put little to no sauce on ANY of my wings, and give me a smaller amount of fries than a regular when I paid extra for a large, then it gets to a point.

This place is constantly disappointing.

I won't be back to this location. They just don't care about service. The last 2 times we have ordered at this location, a simple order of 2 standard salads and 2 chicken fingers have taken 30 minutes to receive our order. The last time the chicken tenders were cold, no Zac sauce, the Oriental salad was only half full, the lettuce was wilted, and no egg roll. No apology. No nothing. Horrible customer service. Nothing should have taken more than 5 minutes on a busy day.

We ordered online and then had to wait 40 minutes in the drive thru line to get our order. Once we got up to the speaker to speak to an employee about our online order, it took approximately 10 minutes before someone came over the speaker, to the point there was no line in front of us in the drive thru anymore. The only benefit of them being so slow is our food that was supposed to be ready at 5:50, didn’t even have the ticket printed or prepared until 6:23, so when we got the food finally at 6:30 it was still hot.

I just visited the Zaxby’s on Fairview Road and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. Despite only a few cars ahead of me in the drive-thru, I waited over 20 minutes for a salad. When I requested ranch dressing, I was told they were out. I then asked for honey mustard, but at the window I inquired again about light ranch—still unavailable.

I also requested salt and pepper, and the staff member informed me it was only available in the lobby. With three sleeping children in the car, I explained I couldn’t come inside, but was still offered no alternative. I’ve received condiments through the drive-thru before, so I was disappointed by the lack of effort to accommodate a reasonable request. To add to this, I ordered a grilled Cobb salad but was given a fried version instead.

Customer service matters just as much as food quality, and this visit was a clear miss on both fronts. Other establishments, such as Chick-fil-A, consistently demonstrate higher standards in courtesy and care—something I hope Zaxby’s strives to emulate. I won’t be returning to this location and urge the management team to re-evaluate the service experience they're providing.

For management: The employee was not wearing a name tag, but she was a pretty younger black girl with braces.
