Friend of mine and I stopped here to try it out for the first time yesterday. I will admit the food is good. The service was awesome. But found a huge problem with the prices. For $8 you can get a pulled pork bbq sandwich. By itself. No sides. I can get one of the best bbq sandwiches around for $5. It's at Mike and Jeff's bbq. And their sandwiches are just as awesome. If you want that sandwich as a plate, add $5 more. And those sides are way too small of a portion to be charging $2.50 a piece. That was disappointing. But even more disappointing was the rib plate. It was $18 with 2 really small side portions and only 2 ribs. They were good but not $18 good. I like to try new places. And I like to include details to let people know what to expect. Personally, if Burley Bills were to lower their cost it would be worth returning. Otherwise it was just an overpriced meal.

I ordered pork and collard greens for a work meeting of 30 people. It was all perfect! The meat was moist and the collard greens were delicious. We even had leftovers! I was a little nervous...but it did not disappoint! Thank You! Def be back!

Heard about how good. So we drove an hour one way to try. Was well worth the drive. The burly pulled pork sandwich was huge, and the meat fell off the ribs. Has got the best flavor. The beans, tater salad, and special homemade slaw were great. The owners are great. Would highly recommend and were definitely going back. ?

Man, Bill's got STUPID good food at this spot. Do yourself a favor and get some fried okra! Eat pretty much anything! You'll want to slap your momma, the food is so good!

My husband really wanted to go try this so I had him bring some home. I couldn’t even finish it. Almost an entire meal in the trash. The meats had a decent taste but too fatty. Pork was sliced for the sandwich which had sweet sauce already on it. Collards tasted canned and beans were a lot like your regular pork and beans. I’ve gotten spoiled on some really great Carolina BBQ over the past few years and this was really a disappointment.
Oh my goodness... Maaaan what can I say? I grew up in Farmville North Carolina beside a hog parlor. I've eaten some BBQ fo sure! The best of it never comes from a restaurant but from some old grizzle tooths pig cooker. It seems like its been decades since I've bit into some BBQ this good! Don't let their A sanitation grade fool you - this BBQ is done right! Do yourself a favor and get you some.
