It’s what I assume to be a small family owned business. Keep that in mind as it takes a while for the food to be prepared. However it is delicious, there’s nothing fancy at all, plastic ware and plates but each dish is made with love. I had pork chops, okra, mashed potatoes and I swear it tasted just like my grandma used to make. They don’t usually have a staff, one person doing it all- hard workers that care. if you have an issue tell them and they will fix it. Don't say anything and then leave a bad review. if thats your style go to a corporate run eating establishment. i also once ordered from door dash and the food was outstanding even to go!!!if in a hurry call ahead it takes about half an hour for food to come out. Support small businesses and be kind.

Simple yet amazing homec ooking. Absolutely the best fried chicken in Greenville County. It does take a few minutes to cook the food but you are getting fresh cooked food. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

We were traveling to Florida, got hungry, and found this place. We enjoyed the staff (polite and attentive), and the food was enjoyable and reasonably priced.

I came when they first opened. Food was good. But service was slow as hell. Food takes forever to me out of the kitchen. Decided to come today after my wife said for a year she didn't want to eat here, and we ordered simple food. The same person running the counter and taking orders was also doing the cooking. On arrival the lights were off. I stopped here before having to head home and shower and leave for work. Food coming out of the kitchen is as slow as it was the time they opened. The people are lovely. But people don't want to wait forever for food. A restaurant should have more than one person doing everything. We were there almost an 40 minutes. I have gps location tracking on my phone as proof. I finally asked how much longer at the 30 minute mark and we were told 3 1/2 more minutes and the food will be out. We sat there 10 more minutes for a total of 40 minutes and I told my wife come on, were leaving. We walked out and no one even noticed.

The server was exceptionally nice and very attentive! When we parked, all the lights were off but the open sign was on. They were open but no customers. No other customers showed up the entire time we were there. We were there for an hour and a half 5pm-6:32pm. We're from out of town so not sure why no customers came in. The food did take a while but we were patient. We had some issues with food quality as my chicken fried steak was served VERY over cooked and so very tough that I couldn't eat it. (See photos) The mashed potatoes were real potatoes without the peel and they were very good. My husband had the fried flounder and he enjoyed it. We couldn't tell if it was actually flounder though. The onion rings were oddly tough and over cooked and seemed a bit old. My mother in law had the chicken fried chicken breast and said it was ok but very dry. She also had the fried green tomatoes. They seemed sliced super thin but had a good taste. The sweet tea tasted fresh and very sweet. The pictures on their Facebook page look alot better than what we were actually served. The portions were small and served on a small styrofoam plate. The restaurant has potential, I just think it could use a makeover and revamping of food quality and serving, plate presentation and dinner portions.

Always takes forever to get food so if you are in a hurry and or are starving don't go.

Really down to earth, great to hear its family owned and makes homemade food that you don't throw in a microwave.

I really want to see this little country kitchen succeed. The folks are nice as can be and man these people know how to make some good home cooking and for cheaper than you can make it for yourself. I would recommend a stop in for a bite

There is something special happening in the kitchen of this small cafe. Worth the drive to Marietta. Must try if you like to eat.

UPDATE: Just got home with our food. And all I can say is God must be in your kitchen! This food is heavenly! Thanks for the great food and didn't even take long.I tried out this place because I love mom and pop places. This is one restaurant I will continue to go to. They have awesome home cooked food. The prices are fair and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like family. I love this place so much. I've already decided that since I'm unable to cook for myself I'll be going there today for lunch and another for dinner. I can admit it is the best place in Marietta to eat and I'm very glad they picked here to open their doors. I hope they stay forever!
