It's such a wonderful little diner! No wonder 'It's a Summerton Tradition'! I call in orders every payday to eat on my way home, and it's always fantastic throughout the entire process. Better prices than most anywhere for the quality of everything there, and I'll be back regularly!

This is a hidden gem that is worth the drive to summerton. The food is EXCELLENT country cooking and very reasonable friendly staff and quick service. Coffee cup never got cold or empty. I got their lunch plate and the veggies were FANTASTIC. The greens were so flavorful and very good. Cooked properly and just really good! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed, plenty of options from a plate lunch to burger and fries to fried chicken. To salads
Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggies can get a plate of you like. and salads to choose from
Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to get to

Always a great meal since I discovered this place over 20 years ago. It has changed hands a few times, but the simple Southern menu faves remain. Quail, Hash and rice, Red Chicken Stew,Hamburger steak, rutabagas, banana pudding. All delicious and reasonable,in a quaint homey atmosphere. It used to be CASH ONLY, but you can call to see if that still stands. 👍👍

Stopped in for breakfast on the way home to Virginia Beach from Florida. They were very accommodating and the food was delicious. The biscuits and grits were exceptional. Worth the short drive off the highway. We will be back on our next trip South.
