I was in town for vacation in Charleston and I had a sudden craving for Chinese food. I found a few locations but this one had the best reviews so I went to give it a show and wow did it amaze me! The food tasted authentic and everything was fresh. The staff was efficient and nice, they kept a nice conversation and asked me about my trip. It really made me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend everyone to try this place out atleast once if they’re craving good Chinese food!!!

We used to eat at a few other Summerville Chinese buffets. Others were more expensive and noisy. Chinese Express and their owner Susan and staff seated us right away in a booth. The atmosphere and architecture is simple nothing to impress however we came for the food. The extensive food items on the buffet was fantastic and delicious. The servers were very attentive to fill our drinks without asking and cleared our tables since you always need a clean plate for the buffet items. Great salad and fruit bar and dessert bar as well. All the main course foods were hot and fresh and tasty. The dinner buffet was $14.50 + tax per person and at this time no merchant fee up charge like so many around town are doing so it saved us money. We highly recommend this restaurant and enjoy a relaxing evening with some soft piano music playing in the background. We will come back again when in the area. Thank you for a great dinner evening. Oh, and it’s closed on Sunday for family time for their staff and church.

Kinda noisy, but worth it for a reasonably priced, pretty good sized, chinese buffet. Will eat here anytime I'm around that area.
