Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I have been going to this Cracker Barrel for over 30 years. My favorite meal was the Grandma special with the pancakes with blackberry sauce and whipped cream ucreamsausage , eggs over medium, and hash brown potatoes. It’s been awhile since we have been there so we were looking forward to a great meal. Well being disappointed is not the word for it. Our eggs were cold, my pancakes were cold about 1/8’ thick, and hard as a piece of leather. I complained and was brought an another order which was no different. The hash brown potatoes fried to a crisp and hard. Needless to say we will not be going back to this Cracker Barrel in Summerville. What a disappoint.

With OVERWHELMING hate and negative feedback of the new "changes" Absolutely EVERYTHING your new CEO is implementing ruining the company why on earth is your board of directors watching the company crash 700 million invested in making the food the absolute best around would have sent your restaurant and brand straight to the top. Sad to see an Icon fall but it is coming at an alarming speed

It is a great place to eat ! We go there about once a week for breakfast! I give it a 8 out of 10. I would likie to tell them all about all the goodies they have there! Give it a 8 out 10..

My wife and I come here almost every weekend...I really want to give a shout out to our waitress here at the Summerville SC Resturant..Ocean is awesome and we have never had bad service when she is our waitress...keep up the great work Ocean!!!!

Ledges are really dusty need to clean, my blueberry pancakes with topping came out looking like a mess, as a waitress in my younger years I would not serve this even if it taste good visual matters too! Please clean up the bathroom! It’s just not clean!

We had Ms. Meagan as our server and she is very attentive and provides excellent service. The food is very good and the portions are good. We enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel because we can expect good food at reasonable prices.

The biscuits are one of my reasons for eating at Cracker Barrel. In the past when served, they most always were soft, fresh and tasted home made like they were straight out of the oven. Yesterday while eating at the Summerville, SC location we found that the biscuits were very dry and hard . We asked the server if we could possibly get some fresh biscuits because the ones we were served and ate were dry and hard. She explained to us that Cracker Barrel now receives them frozen . She explained that The biscuits are put in the oven and then served. She also said she could bring more, but they would be the same because that’s the way they are now served. My Wife who dined with me had ordered the chicken tender meal. The chicken meat and batter were so dry that the tenders had been over fried and possibly microwaved.She chocked and had a coughing spell trying to swallow the dry battered chicken meat. My meal portion seemed much smaller than I anticipated.In the past I have never left Cracker Barrel hungry, but yesterday was disappointing to say the least.

Just spent $12.50 on a takeout order for breakfast. Where's the rest of my food & why is my biscuit thrown in the same bag as the jelly??!! I'm trying to post pictures.

Just spent $47 +tip because my grand-babies wanted pancakes w/strawberries. Had to order from the adult menu bcuz kids' menu does not include strawberries on anything. Third time doing pick up& they can never find my order. So, by the time they do, it's ice cold! Syrup was in portion cups. So, there wasn't enough for 3 orders of pancakes & French toast with strawberries.

Our waitress was very attentive. She remembered us from a previous visit. The Steak Tips were tender and flavorful. The Shrimp and Grits were very good.
