So I had barbecued ribs, boiled cabbage, collard greens, and mac & cheese and cornbread and I’ve never been so full in my life and I couldn’t stop eating it amazing food, and the girls work in the front are very, very sweet. They’re a little quiet for customer service, but they make up with it was sweetness.

The cashier was very sweet. Their display of the food was horrible. There was barely any food in the trays. This lady came in for macaroni and cheese and the scraped the pan to give her scrapes. I ordered gizzards and fries. When I saw the food I said no way. I'm quite sure they will improve.

Best soul food I’ve had at a restaurant. The fried pork chop was perfect. The the flavor of the sides gave me the feeling of being back in grandma’s kitchen. I was also shocked by the healthy portion of sweet potato pie!
First, the major compliment to the cooks:This place is sooooo close to Piggly Wiggly’s deli I almost cried tears of joy. You can tell it’s made with love and passion!My critiques are small adjustments:-hamburger steak needs more gravy and if someone orders rice you shouldn’t use a wax paper separators cause we all mix the gravy in the rice (red or white).-red rice needs tomato chunks (it was close to being too dry) and slice the lumberjack sausage into coins-Mac and cheese needs more pepper and-Collards need a pinch of sugar and just a dash of vinegar, I like the flavor but it’s only savory-sides should be in cups one size up from what they come in for the priceOther than those tiny details, everything all in all was amazing! Will defiantly been door dashing from you guys again!

I ordered via doordash. The food was so perfectly seasoned. Every bite was seasoned. It just reminded me of home on the holidays I had mac and cheese, yams (oMg SOOO GOOD), the red rice, and beef stew. Everything was so tasty not too salty either.

Being a family-run business, the personal touch was evident in every aspect. Visiting from Panama, this restaurant made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend for both the warm hospitality and delicious Southern cuisine.
