Fantastic food! Very fresh ingredients and extremely flavorful. I had two street tacos and my husband had one of the chicken entrees and we both can't stop raving about how good it was. A pleasant Wednesday surprise in our neighborhood - highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!!! I had the Pizzabirria and it was fantastic. The birria meat is the best I have EVER had. So much flavor. It came with 3 sauces that varied in color, flavor and heat levels. Each tasted amazing. There were two 6oz cups of consumé as well. Hubby got 2 Al Pastor street tacos and a Burrito Loco. He is actually going loco as I write this and screaming from upstairs about how good his food is. The lady taking orders was so sweet and I saw two gentlemen steadily making our orders. When I tell you to try this place, I whole heartedly mean it. Find them, follow on their social media and get you some AUTHENTIC food. I will definitely be a patron on this business again even if I have to drive across town...it was just that good!

I moved to Charleston from Southern California several years ago. While I have found some solid options that fulfill my craving for delicious Mexican food through the years, I have never quite found a spot that knocks it out of the park. Enter El Kiosko, with food that makes me drool just thinking about it. This food truck is a dream. The smell hits you as you walk up and dang, you just know it's going to be good. Service is pretty quick - I feel like I always receive a longer estimated wait time than I ever actually wait. Typically 5-10 minutes, depending on how massive your food haul is! Favorites? Everything. Mulitas are something I have not seen on a menu since leaving California - my husband can't have gluten, much to his chagrin, so mulitas were always his go to. Think quesadilla but made with corn tortillas. These things are absolutely packed full of meat, cheese, and fillings (guac, salsa, onion, cilantro). These things are so so good and incredibly filling! I opt for the birria tacos. As others have mentioned, these are delicious. Fresh, crunchy, gooey, cheesy and a yummy consome to dip 'em in! Melt in your mouth dream. Still looking forward to trying the enchiladas and fajitas next but I feel safe saying that you can't go wrong with anything you order here! Bonus points for having ice cold Jarritos to sip on with your incredible food. I follow them on Instagram to keep up with where they're headed but Street Food Finder seems to be the most up to date site. They hop around all over Charleston - regularly hitting Mt. Amazing food and people!! Honestly, the best Mexican food I’ve EVER had. My husband and I had the luck of having our apartment host their food truck for the night, and we were so pleasantly surprised with the options and just HOW GOOD the food is! We will definitely be hounding our manager to have them come back next month!

Enjoyed their nacho platter at the Hanahan 50th bday party, and I was blown away at how good they were! The guacamole was incredibly and surprisingly good! Generally guac is old at most restaurants but it was fresh and seasoned well. Look forward to the restaurant opening!
Amazing food, very flavorful. The biria is my favorite because the meat is so tender and juicy that it melts in your mouth. 10/10 costumer service. I recommend for people who love authentic Mexican food.

I am absolutely addicted to the birria tacos at El Kiosko. Whenever I see them post their schedule I look at my week and see if I might find myself available to get some for lunch or dinner. And whenever I do, I am so glad I did. Not just because they make the best birria tacos I've had to date, and not just because I found out you can get them with fried cheese on the outside which is so unnecessary but also so amazing at the same time, but because of the smiling faces I see as I walk up to the truck. JR and his wife know me by name and we always chat as my order is being prepared and I'm personally so excited to see their success. It's obvious that they care about the product they put out and are always coming up with fun and new ideas. I was very excited for the potential for a brick and mortar location, but that has now turned into a catering kitchen which will help launch other great food trucks in the community. As long as they keep this one going, I'll be a happy camper. Some other notes since my last review is that fixed the queso and I order it every time now because it's so good... with the chorizo in it. Plus the orange hot sauce has become my favorite and you can buy it by the bottle if you ask!

Always good customer service, fresh food, and always a line lol. Thats a good thing though. My go to is the taco de birrias. The consome has changed a bit and has been inconsistent lately...which is the only reason I didn't give the 5 stars I usually would give them. Its more thin and "broth-like" at times and other times it's perfect.Not sure why there isn't anything on the elote today, which was disappointing

Love love love the birria tacos. I will say the consommé has changed to a more watery type broth and not as red and flavorful as it used to be, which has made it not as good. Thats my only complaint hence the 4 stars. The elote is decent but could be better. I still will stalk this truck. The service and the lady who takes orders is always A-1
