Drove 40 minutes because I had a craving for shrimp fried rice. It was definitely worth the drive! I asked for my entree to come without onions and to my surprise it was onion-free unlike some other places I've been to that put them in anyway. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a Chinese food place with great atmosphere, good food, and quality pricing!

your typical classic chinese place. we drive 45 min to get this every time, so worth it. i’m very skeptical when eating out and this place does not disappoint.
we usually get 2 low mein, 1 mei fun, 4 egg rolls, 2 gyoza, 1 honey chicken which is about $80 with tip. this will feed myself and my husband (who is a big man) 2-3 days.
so far everyone who has helped me has been respectful.

Was overcharge thats why i prefer asian fusion next door. The liitle boy rung me up for 29.00 the lady came out and say 39.00 . I should go back there and get my change. She needs to fix her attuide as well
Great Wall is the greatest of all chinese food restaurants in the area. My wife and I have tried them all and this is her favorite, and mine too.
My go-to dish is the combination platter of General Tso's chicken and veggie fried rice and it comes with an egg roll. The chicken is well made, and sauced perfectly. The rice is tasty and delicious, and still really good when heating it up as leftovers the next day. Their egg rolls are always crunchy on the outside and incredible in the middle.

This place is one of the best fast Chinese takeout places on Dorchester.
Order is always consistent and spot on. Had one issue once where I was missing an egg roll but they resolved it next time. This was after many many orders.

This might legit be the best Chinese take out in Charleston. Everytime I’ve gone the food has been fresh and steaming hot. It’s family owned from what I can tell and it tastes like I’m sitting down at their table for dinner eating take out. I’m new to the are so I am really happy to have stumbled upon them, I rarely change my take out spot but this was amazing. My go to dish is boneless spare ribs with shrimp fried rice, only onions add egg and replace my egg roll with a shrimp roll. I’m going to give the Lo Mein a try next.

Solid Chinese food! if you’re looking for a good takeout spot, or a place to quickly stop in and get some basic, reliable Chinese food, this is the place! We moved to the area and were looking for our “go to” spot for when we want Chinese takeout on the fly, and this place definitely does the trick. I think it has everything you’d want from an average Chinese spot. Very large menu with all the classics, and very reasonably priced. The service was good as well. It seemed like it was being run by a family, and they were very hospitable. We happened to be the only ones in the store at the time, and so the food was freshly made The only downside was that it is very small inside, and not too good for large parties. The atmosphere also leaves much to be desired. But then again, you can’t expect too much from a strip mall Chinese joint in terms of interior design. This is NOT a fancy restaurant for a date night or anything, so don’t come in dressed in a suit or a ball gown. As I said before, this is just your every day, solid, reliable, hospitable, neighborhood Chinese spot. I recommend the General Tso’s chicken. The side of broccoli was also extremely good. Whatever they do to their broccoli is phenomenal! Very generous portion of fried dumplings as well. One other small negative was the hot and sour soup. I felt like it was too “gloopy” and thick. However, that’s a tiny negative. The rest of the food was great! So please make this your next stop for takeout Chinese food! My wife and I will definitely be coming back soon!

I came here with my girlfriend after a round of golf and we got crab rangoon(amazing btw) and steamed and fried dumplings before our entrees. The appetizers were great and when the entrees came my kungpao chicken came with peanuts on it. I’m allergic to peanuts and didn’t expect that but without hesitation they gave me a different entree free of charge even when I tried to pay. Great food and great people.
