Lady at the front was amazing. Told her it was my first time and for a second thought I drove all the way from Charlotte just for the food lol. But was real cool, as well as the chef. The seafood egg roll...BUSSIN.. and the rice with fried shrimp and sauce? Would've drove back just to get another plate lol. 10/10.. keep doing your thing!!

One of the best places I've been in a while. The flavors are amazing. Mostly seafood dishes and wings. I had the seafood rice & shrimp, with garlic eggs and honey bread. The staff is also great and very helpful. I highly recommend!!!

Found by chance and truly a great surprise for me. Friendly atmosphere and great food! Will definitely return to try everything else on their menu. Catfish was outstanding!
solid 4/10 - got it delivered on Ubereats. I had the shrimp gumbo seafood rice thing & the seafood eggrolls. The shrimp dish was dry and needed a sauce or something to add moisture & flavor. The eggrolls just were better but that’s not saying much. Wanted to try something new but wouldn’t order again.

Been wanting to eat here for awhile. Was in the area and decided to try it out. The food is cooked to order short wait worth this delicious hot food, They have small eating area 4 booths but they have a large pick up to go business. Customers that live close keep them very busy. Fried shrimp (12) with 2 sides was 16.99, my side portions were large, FF and onion rings. Friday night special was a LowCountry boil with corn, egg, sausage in garlic sauce with 3 blue crabs . OMG so good This is a hidden gem place for the local neighborhood. Will definitely return maybe place a pick up order on next visit. Great job Gumbo House Express.
