All I can say is WOW!!!!
Beyond my expectations for what I ordered.
I did a DoorDash order since I'm a traveling professional and love real good food.
Seafood is one of my favorites, so I have eaten some from all over the U.S.
But, it's been a long time since I have had this level of quality.

I'd rank it in the top 10 in the US, close to the top.

Definitely recommend Hushpuppies to anyone who loves seafood!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about hushpuppies. Mom came to visit and we took my 91 year old grandfather there, both of which tend to be a picky eaters. Melanie came by and answered every question they had and when the food was delivered, it was the best food we have had in a very long time! The crab bites were better than the famous crab cakes we grew up on in Maryland! Everything was cooked to perfection, mom even ate a scallop and enjoyed it! All of the staff was incredible - from the lady taking our order to those that cleared the table. I cannot say enough great things about Melanie’s customer service. She was extremely patient with my grandfather and truly went above and beyond in every aspect. I will recommend this to everyone I know and we will definitely be back!

We had fried shrimp and fried oysters. The portions were large, the price was reasonable and the food was great! For an “order-at-the-counter” dining experience, the service was great. We were checked on and our plates were cleared when we finished eating. Great experience! We’ll be back.

Excellent food, excellent service!

We stopped in today and had such a great experience. We ordered the shrimp and crab nachos (our favorite), seafood Mac and cheese, and Crab Grilled Cheese to share at our table. The food was delicious and everyone was welcoming and friendly! We will be back!

This is a hidden gem. The manager was absolutely wonderful. She came to the table and introduced herself. I told her the coconut lime aoli was delicious. She said her was her recipe that she created.

Parking: Everyone is friendly. One of the cooks named Bobo came out to talk to everyone at my table. Super friendly staff.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, they seem to love to see kids here. The manager has a three year old.

I ordered a oyster meal take out, sweet potato fries, and 2 drinks. My meal was 32.08, but I noticed that I was charged for 67 plus change at that point I told the waitress that the bill was in error. She replied her receipt shows 32.08 so I asked for a receipt which confirmed her response. But after verifying my CC account I noticed that I was charged for 67 plus change. So it appears the waitress added a tip of 35.00.
Being the reason for my account Being charged for 67.08. For the record I did not agree to a 35.00 tip!

A bit expensive. Not my cup of tea. 6 shrimp were between $6 to $8 with no sides. I could get a pound foe that price. Very nice workers however.

Loved the great food at Hushpuppys Seafood Company. My daughter an I went there for lunch yesterday. My 1st time there, her 2nd time. It's in parking lot with Earth Fare. Fantastic Food Generous Portions.Best Seafood in Summerville !!!
