Really cool place to eat. It’s inside of an old power plant from 1903. Our server was amazing and the food was reasonable and arguably the best meal we had on our trip to Charleston.

The place is a staple of Summerville. Great dining downstairs and if your looking to unwind or let loose.. Head upstairs and enjoy a damn near unlimited selection of drinks. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and made my date drinks off a whim that she loved.

The pecan crusted pork chop is incredible. I will definitely come back the next time I get to Summerville.

The establishment allows smoking in the outdoor section and the smoke was so thick our 2 year old granddaughter was coughing. I ordered the steak medium and it came out way overcooked and dry. Possibly the worst steak I’ve ever had. Then the bill came….

We recently visited ice house for dinner with friends. My self and my wife ordered cheeseburgers. My wife asked for Swiss cheese on hers and cooked medium(pink) hers cheese was so thin you could see through it and her burger was overcooked, also, she ordered she crab soup as part of her meal and were not told that soup was extra. and we did not get the soup which was part of her order. . My dinner was a real disappointment. When my cheeseburger finally came out, had no cheese and NO FRIES! No One from staff seemed to notice it either. The Kitchen staff or the waitress. Was also overcooked. Was well done not medium. the meal I think was overpriced too. $55 for the 2 of us. We did each have a beer, Draft. I don't think we will go back there. Plenty of other places around town to go too. Too Bad too because will always were happy with Ice House. No Longer

After reading reviews we thought we would try it out. Mediocre at best. The steak was tough, chips were cold.I was not impressed and the service fee was unexpected. Tell your customers instead of surprising them with it on the bill or raise your prices. One and done kind of place
