The food is… McDonald’s - it is what it is. But the drive thru is consistently the slowest I’ve ever encountered in any McDs, but especially compared to all the others around it. It’s been this way for YEARS, so whatever it is, it’s systemic. Or management. Idk why I keep trying, but every 6mos or so, I give it another shot cuz it’s the closest one to me. It’s literally faster to go to one further away from my house, plus wait in a line of 8+ cars than to wait...

One of the last McDonalds that, more often than not, everything is actually in the bag and made the way requested when you get home. This is really one of two that we still patronize, the other being the one on St.James Ave. in front of Walmart in Goose Creek. We live in Moncks Corner, and haven't been to that McDonalds in years due to their lackadaisical approach to customer service and apparent inability to fill orders correctly.

Borderline 2 stars .Im local so i can say factually that this location being right in the heart of Summerville and about 500yds or so to the I26E/I26W on and off ramps and attatched to a fuel station that services Big Rigs its ALWAYS busy in there or in the drive threw .I normally try to avoid this one out of id say 10 times i have recieved my order correct and by an employee who was over 18 and didnt have a major attitude.who ever does the hiring should probably hire the kids...
