Female at the drive-in window was extremely rude on 8/19/25; Summerville, SC location.
I mentioned to the young lady at the window that she was rude and that she should have common curiosity to speak and she almost dropped my food. Although I made a mistake and came directly to the window as opposed to going the drive through. When I mentioned this to her she began cursing and became indignant and ruder. Even after the manager came to the window to handle the situation she continued to yell and curse and wouldn’t listen to the manager. I left extremely upset and I felt disrespected.

Manager Malika(Maleeka) at the Summerville, SC off of Berling G.Meyers pkway, is truly managing her store. She was kind, courteous, helpful. She ensured each customer was taken care of as if they were the only customer waiting. Her staff showed her nothing but respect and them her in kind. It's been a while since I had been to this store and was happy. I did. Thank you again to Malika(Maleeka) for setting a standard that you push for each of your staff.

Went there for lunch today and this is the 3rd time I have been to this location and they tell me they can only except cash? Are they using such a cheap credit card service that it is always down or what? No wonder most Popeyes locations are shutting their doors!

The food at this Summerville location is so much better than the one on Dorchester Rd, North Charleston.

This brand is really becoming inconsistent. I work in a court system and we often send someone to pick up our meals, so it needs to be CORRECT because we cannot leave to change it. The 1st time I was there and my order was not ready on time, I let that slide a couple weeks ago. However, to receive TWO SIDES OF MASHED POTATOES N GRAVY WITH PORK GRAVY, AND I DON'T EAT PORK, IS WILD TO ME! Not only that, I paid extra to upgrade to macaroni and cheese and a side of red beans and rice, only to get the wrong thing! They should focus on correct orders and customer service instead of being so nasty and filling orders incorrectly! Once I get this order changed, this is one customer Popeyes don't have to worry about for a WHILE!!!! ?????

Worst customer service! I see a trend here with the other posts. Not even greeted while standing at the counter. Place our order with the girl who doesn't even want to be there. 5 minutes After placing our order, was told by the general Manager Brenda that it would be 15-20 minutes for our food, when the first girl didn't say anything to us about it. Requested refund and the general Manager Brenda, caught an attitude and was cussing at us. She DOES NOT belong in customer service let alone being a general manager! Bad attitude and didn't care at all of how she was talking to a customer. Get another job if yours is that bad! I warn you, DO NOT go to this location! Beyond one of our worst experiences.

By the look of things, this review won't go far anyways, because corporate seems like they don't care either.

I place my order at the speaker. I made sure to order my combo large size meaning that I wanted a large fry and a large drink. I get to the window and I sit there approximately 6-10 minutes, and then I'm told to pull forward to receive my order. I know I sat there at least 10 minutes before the order was brought out to me and when the representative brought me the food she pushed it on in my hand and went back in the door. I immediately opened the bag and ate a fry and it was cold. I go back to the window and request some hot fries. Once again they tell me to pull forward after I've sat there for about 5 minutes this time. They bring me the fries back outside. Of course you know they were still cold I go back to the window and I demand for the girl to take the fries because I know my temperature gauge reads correctly in my mouth. I was at Popeye's at least 45 minutes to 1 hour trying to get two chicken sandwich combos large size with Strawberry Fanta to drink. I literally had to put my hands together and say a prayer to maintain my sanity because it was at that moment that I understood why people cut up like they do at these fast food places. The manager was there she just didn't care and they weren't short-handed there were at least eight people working at 9:00 to 10:00 at night. It was very obvious that the manager was unprofessional and that the crew really just wanted to stand around and talk all night. Of course who doesn't want to do that on a job but when you have a job and customer service you should at least make sure you do that correctly because otherwise you don't need to work with customers. I have never been so pissed off at a restaurant before in my life. This is absolutely the worst Popeyes to go to and expect to get what you order.

Woman at counter was beyond rude with my child after I sent him inside because they messed up my order. Then refused to give the item that was missing and paid for! If you don't like your job, find another one

On September 27th my husband and I visited this location. We arrived to the drive thru at about 8:05 p.m. We arrived to an already long line. Long story short we waited behind the car at the speaker box for at least 20 minutes before she was finally helped. We ordered an 8 piece meal the worker taking the order was short and did not apologize for the looong wait! Once we got home the box was missing two thighs we tried to call back that night and the next day no one answered. We usually have a great experience here, but needless to say that was our last visit!

This particular establishment is very inefficient.
1. Food quality
2 Sanitary issues (preparation area)
3. Management and staff at odds
4. Customer service skills are poor
Time was 9:20 pm 09/25/24 .
I shall not recommend this establishment at all. Sanitation inspection. I was escaping Hurricane Helena

Awful business and management. I ordered two dinners and when I got home I have half of my meal. No receipt was in the bag. Came back the next day and they refuse my meal after I called the same night. The person answered the phone wrote my name down. Came in to tell them my name and they couldn’t find it. I feel like I was robbed.
