Food is pretty good…. 2 star is for bad service. They made an honest mistake and misheard one item in my $90 order. Noticed on the way back home one of the sandwiches was wrong. I brought the incorrect sandwich back just 2 minutes. All I said was hey this was the wrong sandwich and Jess response was “that’s what you said on the phone”. So I correctly ordered 7 other items but this one was wrong. Politely let her know she must have misheard and she then tells me sandwiches aren’t free so if you want the correct one you have to pay. Automatically blaming the customer for a mistake you made is not the best idea. Paid for the correct sandwich (which cost me an extra $13) and won’t be coming back. Unfortunate since the food was good. Next time you order make sure the staff doesn’t make a mistake or you will be paying for it. - This is a copy and paste from my Yelp review!

Today we found the gem and tried it for the first time. We split a Rueben sub and fries. It was absolutely amazing and they were so welcoming. We will definitely be returning to try other sandwiches!

This little gem is a slice of heaven. They really know good food. Their deli sandwiches are just delicious. They are also friendly and sincerely welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We have lived in Charleston for years but recently moved to the Summerville area. Heard great things about this place and were really excited about eating here. That feeling left us as soon as we encountered a brunette lady named Jess when giving our order. She didn’t say hello to us, didn’t suggest any items with our order, basically acted as if we were annoying her. Oddly enough, a gentleman went after us and she perked up and gave him outstanding service. My son and I just looked at each other in bewilderment. We got our food and were the ones who said “thank you” as she said nothing and stared at us as we left. I mentioned this to my neighbor friend who decided to go there and see if she would get the same treatment. It was her first time there as well. Sadly to say this counter person named Jess treated her the same exact way. Apparently newcomers aren’t welcome here unless you possibly have the appearance of a working male. Granted we had been working out in the yard. Hair a tad frizzy and no makeup but why should this matter when ordering a sandwich ? Needless to say we will stick to our regular East Bay Deli where customers are appreciated and approached with kindness.

You MUST have the cheesecake 😋 it's the BEST EVER!!! I was dog sitting for my daughter and she told me about this little deli and how good the subs were. I ended up eating there 3 times while they were on vacation. Great egg sandwich & subs. She came to Florida today and delivered me a piece of cheesecake and im a happy girl 😍
