Food looked good and smelled good but the porkchops were undercooked and were swimming in oil/grease. I could not even eat this. It was way overpriced as well. $16 and highly disappointed. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered shrimp & gravy, my boyfriend ordered the ribs. The ribs were edible but the shrimp & gravy.. Horrible!! Unseasoned! It was more like brown water over rice. My boyfriend took the food back inside to throw it away.. he told the owner we were unsatisfied & he seemed surprised. He said he’s never heard that before.

So disappointed in my turkey and Gravy dinner . Turkey was so dry , very hard and tasted old . The Gravy seemed canned and had a funky taste the rice was old and dry . The only good thing was the green beans . Wish o had read the reviews first.

0 stars if I could! Would not recommend eating here, I’ve had better food from military defacs.Ordered the turkey wing meal and got 2 chicken quarters. The rice was supposed to be white rice, got yellow rice. Soul food ?! TUH! The food is disgusting and over priced, I wouldn’t feed it to a dog…sent me to the bathroom immediately after eating! TRASH!

So let me say first I ordered through Uber Eats so this spillage is the fault of the driver but also you guys may want to think of different containers that are more secure. Second let me say I am a chef by trade don’t believe check out my fb I was not feeling well and did not want to cook so I figured I would try a new place and tried this place first off I got ribs the lunch special one for myself with Mac and cheese and one for my teen son with pasta well he also got Mac and cheese and that is not what he wanted then the ribs were smoked yes but tough as hell my one year old wanted a piece but I was too afraid she would choke because they were way too tough and they were just plain no bbq sauce or anything luckily I had some sweet baby rays in the fridge but the more you ate the ribs they just didn’t taste that great so my son said he didn’t want it and his whole meal went in the trash the Mac and cheese was so salty and had a weird taste also in the trash now. Next I got the Turkey wings with gravy and white rice when I opened the container it had a stinch you can definitely tell the rice is old and spoiled which made the whole thing off putting but to be fair I did try the Turkey wings and then things just nasty I can’t even explain the taste but my god the sides were baked beans which I will honestly say were ok and the yams were cold like out the fridge cold while everything else was hot it seems like that’s how they serve them but I would suggest you don’t so all three meals are in the trash because with that spiked rice stinking like that everything on that plate was no good. This is not to be mean but I was very thorough because I wanted to make sure I gave y’all a chance.I think y’all need to really take a step back and tweek whatever recipe y’all using and selling spoiled rice is not ok ever everything I had was not good and I am sorry that I had to write this review but I will not be back like ever again. I still wish y’all much success but definitely see so many areas for improvement.

I received two Humungous Oxtail, both over 70% of fat, smothered in some ole thick sauce. Never received the Mac and cheese I ordered. In its place, I received cold, brick hard rice that was obviously microwave rice. All old food, microwaved and canned. Do not put this food into your body, you are doing to end up sick! A total waste of $45.00. I've read the other reviews and that was definitely not my experience. The food was disgusting.

Let’s start with the oxtails they were alright tender… now let’s dive into the rest of the plate the rice had a odor… it definitely it smelled off… I didn’t understood why I even received rice when i did not order it with my food... the Mac and cheese was ok nothing spectacular and the cabbage tasted like vinegar I couldn’t even eat it. For the oxtail alone I’ll give two stars but I don’t think I will be eating from this place again

Rommy's Cuisine on Central Avenue in Summerville is a great place to go for delicious and well made food that is well worth a visit. I really like their BBQ, seafood, and just about everything on their menu. They are a good value for everything that you get. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you get everything that you need.
