Totally messed up order. I ordered no veggies and extra rice on our meals and they were double veggie no rice. Steak was way over cooked.
Would NOT recommend.

this place is absolutely AWFUL. i ordered a couple of hibachi super bowls and i received a total of TWO broccolis. i’m not even being dramatic. it was mostly rice, the small tiny shrimp tasted frozen and steamed, didn’t even seem grilled. the steak was sorry, tough, no good flavor… nothing good to say about this place at all. very disappointing.

we’ve eaten here plenty of times before and always had a great experience, but today the staff was on the next level with everything. the rice was cooked perfectly, the vegetables and steak were perfect, and the portion size was absolutely magnificent. we couldn’t say enough good things about the food as we were eating. the price we paid for our lunch was so reasonable for the quality we experienced.

Chicken was so fatty and uneditable threw away the food. Do not recommend going here. Service was fast and friendly but the food is horrible.

Always frequent the one on rivers avenue in north Charleston now I'm wondering why the same exact meal I've been ordering is almost 25 dollars cheaper at this location!
Plus this place is more roomier and cleaner but kitchen is kinda closed off from the eyes!?makes me wonder about pricing?
This exact meal costs 60 dollars in north Charleston!

Steak overcooked and super tough,shrimp has never touched the grill It’s almost like it was steamed. The only thing that taste like hibachi was the rice and it was OK at best. would advise going somewhere else.

So I'm not sure if the new couple at the restaurant replaced the previous owner whom I really liked and didn't overcharge the food if I needed a substitution. The vibe is totally different now. I've even asked twice if the previous franchise owner/manager was still there or left....and they can't answer my question? Like....all I'm asking is if you're new management...cause it's totally different, and that's fine for those who like it. I've got ARFID, and the steak bowl with a substitute of broccoli and white rice was my favorite meal. I got it 2 weeks ago when this new manager(?) appeared and it's not the same at all, plus pricier. It's not as personable anymore, i know not everyone likes this place and has had the same experience ive had, but this is a nice local spot and it used to feel so welcoming with the previous manager and her daughter. The food also was not the same quality, beef was some how too chewy but soft at the same time, rice was crunchy in some spots, just, not the same, which again I'm one person, others may be happy. But all I want to know is if the previous manager has left??? Could someone there answer my question? If the food quality is the same as last time....what an absolute waste of 15$.

I ordered the orange chicken bowl. The quality of the food was poor. The rice was subpar, and the chicken was really bad. I’m pretty sure they were just highly processed chicken nuggets, with a very sweet orange goop poured over them. I regret paying for this meal, I ended up just throwing it in the trash.

The food options were great. Able to order tofu in place of meat. Food was served in a timely manner, and the flavor was delicious. The only issue was the seating. The seating was limited, and there was no real privacy. Had the seating been better, I would have given more than 3 stars.

Vegetarian options: Tofu is the meat replacement. The dishes we ordered did not have egg or dairy. We were able to add extra vegetables, which we loved. The salad dressing is limited, but there is a vegetarian option.
