Food was ok not anything like when they first opened ,very disappointing for the price waitress was nice when i saw her ,tea never was able to get a refill

Being from West Virginia I've grown up with Shoneys and love it! This one is very different than our though! It's not bad, the food is always good and the service isn't bad. We only go for breakfast, so that's the only thing I can tell you about. They only have the potatoes, they do not have regular hash browns, which I think is weird. They also do not have pancakes, which is think is weird as well.The service isn't bad! I do feel bad for them, they have to clean up after these kids that make a mess. The parents do not do a thing! They let them yell and scream, throw napkins, food, and just make a plain mess all while on their phone. So I do feel bad for the staff.They do not have a gift shop like ever other Shoneys I have ever been to, which apparently no one in SC knows other ones have them. They also do not have food pictures on their table times, all the ones I've seen to have hot fudge cakes, games, pies, etc.I will be back, but It's not like home!

Saturday night seafood buffet was really good! The lady chef does a fantastic job and she was very nice! Waitress was very nice too!

Went to Shoneys today which me and my family have been going to for years and was so disappointed. For the first time I hated it, grits was were watery, sausage gravy was like coffee creamer and when I complained to the waitress she said yea we had that problem yesterday. It’s really going down hill.

I only eat breakfast at Shoneys, but I arrived late today and there were leftover scrambled eggs and low quality bacon. You may think that I'm picky or that I should have arrived earlier, but I think they should have had sufficient fresh food until the last minute. Otherwise, Shoneys is Shoneys.

Food was OK. But certainly not worth the 12.99 per person. After all.......its just egg and bacon. There are other places with more selection and still lower priced. Same old dirty carpet and walls that need painting. I'll not go back. Nor will I recommend it.

If you like Shoneys this is a great choice. Hot breakfast bar and staff does a great job keeping it fresh and stocked. Service was very friendly. Obviously this isnt 5 star food, but it is one of the few good Shoneys left I have visited.
