This place is never open when it’s supposed to. Was there today at 11:15 and no lights on doors locked sign said open at 11 I do not recommend going there

Last few times I went it was essentially empty.
I went for the first time today looking for oysters. Apparently, it is too late in the season for clusters, but I bought a dozen singles. When I got home, the bag contained considerably more than a dozen. A good deal.I had planned to steam them, but by the time I got done sampling them raw, they were all gone.I was a bit taken aback that they would accept only cash and not a credit card, because I usually don't carry a lot of cash, just the cards. I did have cash though.The lady who took care of me was friendly, polite and helpful. I will certainly return for my seafood needs.
They didn't really have alot to choose from. All the fish they had out was all just various filets. Can't tell by looking if this is fresh seafood or previously frozen. The shrimp didn't look real great either. We did get a half bushel of oyster clusters and they were good and the service was ok but overall as a seafood market I would not return unless I was wanting oysters or crabs.
Went in on a Friday for shrimp the two young men were very polite and helpful.
The staff here was friendly and very knowledgeable on the seafood they sell. Recommended for any future seafood purchase. I will be going back.

The only thing nastier than the seafood they sell is the owners attitude! Pretty sure this place only exists to cash out EBT (food stamps) hence the reason it’s “cash only”, but yet they have an ATM. Makes you wonder doesn’t it! Crooks and won’t refund when you get home and realize what you bought is beyond spoiled. Gross! Stay away!
