The food was incredible—our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! Every dish was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous. They even packed up the leftovers beautifully so we could enjoy them later.
On top of all that, the staff was super friendly and helpful, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. I’m so glad we chose Swig & Swine—highly recommended for any event!

Our Best Friend HS Maxey came by with a big To Go pan FULL of a variety of smoked delicious BBQ meats and baked beans to die for and the best potato salad ever ... HS did all this kindness for my Hubby.. he turned 70 Saturday 6/7/25🙂.. I LOVE to cook & bake and I have tried many different recipes and BBQ restaurants and I am just letting the WORLD know YOU are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST AND MOST SATISFYING AND MOST MOIST... MELT IN YOUR MOUTH MEAT... BEST FLAVOR... BEST EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE EVER TASTED... I have never been to your restaurant... I live in Walterboro... BUT.. I will and I must stop in and enjoy this food when I come your way. A-Plus Plus Plus for everyone... just Superb

I had an amazing experience at Swig & Swine in Summerville! I ordered The Big Nasty and The Pit, and both absolutely blew me away. The flavors were deep, smoky, and rich—true Southern BBQ done right. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, and the sauces added just the right kick. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it’s clear they put a lot of love into their food.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest. They were attentive without being overbearing and made sure I had everything I needed.
The atmosphere is just what you want in a BBQ joint—laid-back, cozy, and great for relaxing or catching up with friends. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a delicious meal without feeling rushed. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a spot worth stopping for.

I loved the atmosphere and service was incredible but man the food was a let down. The meats while not bad definitely need some more care as alot of them were missing something from flavor or texture. Brisket was too beefy for my liking, pork belly was way too soft, ribs were good, peanut butter and jelly wings are a hard pass, and pulled pork was decent. The sides were good. Corn pudding was incredible.

My boyfriend and I come here often and every time we come here we have excellent service. Catherine (Katherine? lol) is usually our girl and we love her! The food is always good.. I get the wings almost every time or whatever the special is. Today we had the burger on special and it was spectacular!

Brisket was a little dry but overall pretty good they also have really good BBQ sauces as well.
Food was great and came out pretty quickly even during peak dinner time. had a great server and over all a great value the two of us ate for around $50 without the tip.

Finally...a BBQ restaurant that understands they don't need to smoke the meat to the point that it tastes like you are licking an ashtray! Great food, generous portions! The pulled pork is great and the potato salad is delicious. Would definitely recommend it!

1st Time visit today. Great job to the entire staff, front and back of house! We had a table of 7 and everybody was smiling and happy.
On special today. Meatballs app in red bbq sauce. A+ *Sauce was thick, smokey, and a little on the sweet side, but that was kinda the point.
Brisket ground Burger, my 17yro devoured it. Pulled pork sandwich, huge portion of meat on a nicely toasted potato bun. Brisket sliced. The most boring in appearance, but the piece I tasted was juicy.
My highlights were the loaded potato cold salad and Brunswick stew. These both had tons of flavor and you could tell made from scratch in house.
No room today, but the pork rinds nachos look amazing. Will be back to try those.
Restaurant was clean, well lit, and had plenty of staff.
