I eat here a lot! The food is always hot, fresh and consistent. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. They are always adding new menu items and working hard to serve a quality product. Highly recommend this location!

Parking: I talked with Brock and Mr Ron and told them how much my wife and I enjoyed our late lunch, again it is great !

I was so excited to find this place in Summerville. I live an hour and a half away where there are no decent restaurants. So when we came down Charleston way we stopped in at this restaurant. The fish is to die for! We also bought the beef pies and sausage rolls and took them home to eat today. It is authentic British food and because I was raised with this type of food I was thrilled to find someone who knew how to cook it as well as my parents did. We will definitely be coming back!

Employees went above and beyond. She delivered our fish and said a small piece broke off. She gave me my fish and came back with another whole poece

Always great food and service at the Nexton location. The new loaded chips with lamb are amazing and I got the battered chips which is the way to go.

If you are looking for authentic fish & chips, you've GOT to try The Codfather! The food is exceptional, and the employees do everything possible to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience! The restaurant is clean, which is extremely important to me when I'm eating out. I'm also a regular purchaser of the battered chips (only a buck upcharge). They are so good I drive from North Charleston to Summerville to dine in every week!
Wheelchair accessibility: My 87-year-old mother uses a walker, so we need to park closely. We have no problems parking and dining!

Wife called in order, I went to pick-up. Only a few minutes away. 2 Staff and Santa are standing in the doorway exchanging holiday greetings. Go to the counter and give my name, let the young man know that I'm really early and he tells me my order is cooking, I go and sit down and wait. I'm good. 5-6 minutes later a waitress approaches me, bends down kind of close and proceeded to talk to me like a child, I'm 56 and white bearded. She informs me that they messed up my order. Instead of dropping 2, they dropped 1.5, but never fear, they're going to drop another half, put the rest of my food into packaging and let it sit and get cooled off while they correct the mistake. All the while acting like she was doing me a favor. Get home, most of food is as you would expect. Only get it to go because it's so close. Oh and to top it of, forgot our mushy peas and brown. 3rd trip, first problem.

The batter was very doughy, and oily. This fish does not taste like the fish that I have received from your establishment from my previous visits. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

Firstly it was a Very unpleasant atmosphere I wish everyone would understand that this is the land of the free now! Secondly I got sick and was vomiting all night something in my mind was telling me to just go somewhere else. My other half was beyond irate with the service they made us feel very unwelcome in the establishment if I don’t begin to feel better and I go to this hospital and find out that o have some sort of food poisoning we will definitely have a problem I will never eat from here again(Summerville) I have never had this problem in North Charleston . Then they kept just talking to us like I understand that they are trying to be friendly but they were a little over friendly I am very disappointed and hope they will change for the better to make it a great experience for everyone and I mean everyone!
