Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I only gave one star because I couldn’t give zero. The customer service at this location is awful. Not one employee acknowledged me when I walked in. I stood at the counter for five minutes while the drive-thru girl finished her order, and another employee wiped down the counter without saying a word. When I finally placed an order, I was told a higher price than advertised. They didn’t bother to adjust it, so I walked out. This location is an absolute joke.

I was very disappointed with my first visit. When I entered, no one greeted me. The promotion clearly stated “free smoothie with a food purchase” from 9/15–9/21, but instead of helping me, the employee immediately said it was her first time handling the special. As a first-time customer, this was frustrating and unwelcoming. I won’t be returning.

PB Protein Crunch is horrible!!!!!!! Thai Chicken is great even though they didn't spread the meat out in the wrap.

If I could give this Tropical Smoothie Cafe 0 stars, I would. This location specifically, is one of the worst Tropical Cafes I have ever been to. It seems like everytime I come here something is always wrong. For one, they are extremely slow. I would say maybe it’s because they’re understaffed which would’ve been more understandable but, they’re not! I noticed the employees at this location just don’t move with any sense of direction or urgency at all & that goes for inside service as well as drive thru. Secondly, the smoothies are never made correctly and taste like nothing. I’m not sure if they’re rushing the blending process or whatever the case is… but I’m always served my smoothie with large chunks of fruits and ice. I have to wait for it to melt to be able to enjoy it and when it does melt down some, it’s not enjoyable anyways because by that point it just taste like water. Absolutely no flavor. I never have this problem with the other tropical smoothie cafes. Even the ones in other states when I travel. ONLY this location in particular sucks. Not to mention if you try and call them for anything like an issue or needing help with something, the phone lines for this store only are disconnected and don’t work. I have tried to call and also email the corporate office to express my concerns about this location but no one has gotten back to me. Mind you this was months ago…. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is great & I love their smoothies and food, I’ve been a customer for years but this store in particular needs an entire new staff. Especially management. What really sucks is this location is in such a convenient spot but sadly I would not recommend going here to anyone. Save yourselves the headache & just avoid this one. The other ones however, are great.

This location is nothing short of amazing. Every time that I visit the team is always so polite and friendly. And my smoothie is amazing every single time , if you’re thinking about trying them out you will not be disappointed!!!

Ordered veggie humus wrap with chicken(which I paid extra for) and got a smashed rice and lettuce wrap instead. I have called several times to let them know and to get a refund but their phone line continues to ring busy. Would go back there but unfortunately was on my lunch break when I went pick up my order…

What is the point of answering the drive through income to tell us you’re close, especially if you’re not actually closed. Not only was your open sign still on but No matter where you look online it says you close at 9pm on Wednesday’s, plus you front door also says it. I understand not wanting last minute customers but if you have 15 minutes til you close you have 15 minutes til you close. This has happened multiple times at this location and the girl isn’t even nice about it through the intercom. At this point don’t answer and definitely let go of the intercom button before you laugh.

Today I had a long day at work and I was pretty sweaty to be honest and wanted a smoothie and something to eat, I chose to pick this place because I never tried it before!
I was greeted by a young girl with pins on her hat which I found amazing because I don’t see that now and days but anyways!!!
It was pretty slow and no one beside the girl in pins said “Heeelllllooooo” with a smile! I started my order on two different smoothies which was a mango one and blueberry one, but then she paused me and asked me if I would like a ice water since I was sweaty, I replied to be honest with you “I NEED WATER” as a joke, She smiled at that and went to go get me water and came back to continue my order which I got a chicken chipotle flatbread for my meal, it was a bit to pricey but I paid for it and with a smile she said “everything will be out shortly” she made the smoothies while the cook made my food.
I sat at the bar to see what’s going on and man she was so fast with the smoothie and made sure they where not to icy and not to watery but just right for me.
Once I got everything she said “if there’s anything wrong lemme know I got ya” and went on cleaning. I told her I’ll be back for sure and I will be getting the same smoothies, just hope she has better people to work with or someone needs to talk to them about it or being on their phones!

First time trying this place. Extremely disappointed with their service. After receiving the wrap I ordered I had to wait another 10 more minutes for my smoothie. I watched as the workers made the smoothies for people who placed app orders who were not even there, but weren’t making my smoothie while I sat there at the counter.
Will not be returning and would not recommend.

So today I was greeted by Ashley today. it was pretty busy since it was the Fan Fest every day. All week thing going on, she told me she would be right with me once she was done with helping someone else out which I replied "take your time, I have nowhere to go" she smiled and laughed at my little joke. Once she was done, she helped me out! I told her I've never been to this place and asked if she could help me what to get! she asked me if I was allergic to anything so she could let them know to change everything. I giggled and said nope. She smiled and said "Well ma'am my fav food here is a plain salad with carrots and green onions and ranch and a bit of spinach' I was a bit scared of trying something like that and told her and she told me "trust me, you might like it but if not I can make you a different salad" I said I'll give it a try! then asked her what her fav smoothie is so I could try that too, she smiled and said "my favorite is the blueberry bliss with non-fat yogurt' I got everything she liked so maybe when I come, I can get it again. once I get done paying for it, she told me that my stuff will be out shortly and ask me if I wanted any water while I waited for my smoothies since it was going to take time, and I said yes please, and she went to go sit at the bar so I could watch them make things. it was a bit messy, but she got the job done while I was waiting, she checked up on me here and there if I need any more water and I said no thank you dear, later on I finally got my drink and to be honest with you it was the BEST SMOOTHIE EVER! I was like girl! you're a dream worker! she said, " I do my best, is it too sweet or not sweet enough for you?" I replied to girl! I love it. once I got my food I was a bit scared of trying it but I was brave enough to do it and gave in, And at that point I was amazed by it and when it got slow asked if she ever tried apples with it and she replied " no, I'll try it next time and if you come back I'll tell you about it" The manger needs to give her a rise to be honest I don't know if she got one, but she needs one with all the stuff she does to make sure someone is happy about their food or smoothie! I can't wait to come back and get her again hopeful she's there!
